so i got a 2 amp walwart from madvapes and was excited so i put my passthrough on it, didn't work, tried raising the post on the cartos and still nothing, plugged the passthrough into my laptop and it worked fine.. so i wrote a ticket and put up a thread and they said maybe it was a connection problem with the walwart because i was using a kr8 passthrough. i put it aside and got curious today so i grabbed a g4 put a adapter on the passthrough plugged it in and bam, works great. tried putting a kr8 carto back on and nothing even though it was connecting, tried using a 901/808 adapter then the kr8 carto and still nothing, and nothing with the dual coils either. so for some reason my passthrough only wants to work with the walwart on g4 cartos with a 901/510 adapter.. it doesnt make sense

Well at least your Not smoking. hehe.. I can't help you with your problem. Just wanted to say Hi dude, Hope your going fine. Hope you get it figured out. I been real busy in my long thread and am just now trying to enjoy the general forum.

I would have to say logically a connection isn't being made somehow. I know it's hard to see how the connection cannot be being made.. very odd.. Best of luck

What ohms are the KR8s? Are they LR?

not lr just standard, not sure on the ohm rating of a standard kr8 carto, they're regular and premium from litecig.
the thing is though it works with a kr8 carto on my laptop but not on the 2000 mah wall adapter wich doesnt make sense to me...

The wall adapter is seeing a short for some reason. The dual coils won't fire on all sorts of things that see them as a short. There are regulators in 5v box mods, VV devices, some protection circuits in batteries, and some power supplies that refuse to send electricity to the circuit when they think there is a short. Some places even advertize that as a safety feature.. -- If those KR8s are 2 ohms or less, the wall wart might see them as a short.

just tried a couple other kr8 cartos i had with them and they work. so for some reason the standard kr8 cartos that came with litecig's kit don't want to work unless it's on my laptop... still have no idea why that would be because my laptop puts out less power on the usb then this wall adapter does if anything i would think it would be the other way arround... oh well atleast most of the ones i have will work

Depending on your adapters, maybe you could try a 2.0 ohm or less atty on that pass through - and then try a higher ohm one to see if it is the wall wart being too smart to fire when it thinks there might be a short. They might have given you these cartos with your kit. Since they don't say what cartos they ship with the kit except that one of them is prefilled, I think it might be.

But anyway, that's the way to test. if you have an LR and standard resistance atty around (and the proper adapter or combination of adapters) you might be able to figure out if it is the wallwart seeing low ohms as a short or if it really is just something weird.
