Passthrough need to charge first?

I just got this https://www.madvapes.com/MadVapes-5-Volt-510-Manual-USB-Passthrough_p_2155.html and it's not working.

I've got it plugged into a a/c to usb adapter, and with no carto on it, the light will light up fine. When I put a G4 carto on it, the light just flashes, and nothing happens when I try to draw on it. Same thing with a CE2.

I thought a G4/CE2's would work fine on it, but I guess not. Can anyone tell me which cartos I need to use on it?

That is a true passthrough, needs a usb power power supply with enough output.

With a ps that says 2 amp output (2000 mA), you can use down to 2.5 ohms, but not lower.

Odds are that you have less than a 2 amp ps and/or have one but are trying to use a less than 2.5 ohm carto.

5/ps-output-in-amps = lowest-resistance-in-ohms

Hopefully that's it. The CE2's I have are marked 2.4 to 2.6, and I believe the G4's are well above that.

Walmart online sells the iq dual usb 2a, $10. Pretty sure madvapes and litecigusa also carry 2a ps. Bestbuy might have something too.

I'm going to see if I can hunt down something local. The mailman is starting to flinch when he see's me.

After looking around the house, I've found no less than 7 A/C to USB adapters. (I had no idea we had so many!!) Every last one of them is 1 amp.
