All of those codes can be caused by the atty or carto. The E2 means he's trying to use an LR atty or carto and the voltage is set too high. It sounds like it's not the provari that's the problem, it's the user and what he's trying to use on it. The Provari is doing what it's supposed to do.. protect itself and it's user.

Error Codes
Errors – There are a number of safety monitors built into the ProVari and its always
checking for problems If a problem is detected the display will show a two digit error for problems. If a problem is detected the display will show a two digit error
code for 4 seconds alerting you of a problem. The following are the error codes:
• E1 – Short Circuit / Shorted Atomizer – If this error appears, remove the atomizer and replace with a different one
or or lower your voltage settings The ProVari will automatically reset when the problem is fixed lower your voltage settings. The ProVari will automatically reset when the problem is fixed.
• E2 – Current Limit Exceeded – If this error appears, lower the voltage on the device or use a higher resistance
atomizer. Once the problem has been fixed, the ProVari will reset itself.
• E3 – Thermal Monitor – If this error appears, let the device cool off for several minutes before using again.
• E4 – Input Voltage to DC/DC converter error – These can be caused by the atomizer or cartomizer. Its ok to see
these occasionally. If you get constant E4 errors, contact ProVape.
• E5 – Converter has a problem - Contact ProVape.
• E6 - Microprocessor has a problem – Contact ProVape.
• E7 – Voltage output detected when there should be none – This can be caused by a converter fault or by an open
atomizer. Only contact ProVape if you know the atomizer is good and the problem persists.
• E8 – Converter has detected a fault – These can be caused by the atomizer or cartomizer. Its ok to see these
occasionally. Contact ProVape is this persists.

i dunno, im done dealing with it, his only words to me are "provari is a POS im sticking to my buzz" i tried to help resolve the issue, talked to provape about a warranty fix, hes just not hearing it, so he can sell it, or whatever. 3 provaris over 2 years, and never thrown an error code. so im not sure what his issue is. thanks for the input guys. he says "the provari is too smart" sucks cause it's a great PV but i guess not for everyone.

Meh. Sometimes you just have to let stubborn people be stubborn. If he's not willing to try to figure it out (I'm almost sure it doesn't need warranty service if it was working fine for you), let him sell it. It'll go quick in the classifieds.

point being, he thinks it's broken, even if you know it isn't, he thinks it is, but he's willing (and planning) to sell it to someone on the classifieds, knowing full well (in his mind) that is it broken and that it will likely (again, in his mind) be needing to be sent in for some kind of servicing...kinda lame, thats for sure

mine is throwing me error codes just like that though....i'm just going to try to figure out whats up though... cuz it's the sickest pv i've ever seen, and honestly, it works great on most carto's, just not the LR ones (yes it's a v2, and when i calculate the current based on the voltage setting and the resistance the devices says the carto is showing, it is way under what the stated limit is by provape, but whatever, i'm sure it'll get figured out soon enough. hell i like it so damn much i'm probably going to buy a mini just in case i have to send it in for warranty repair work... lol

Hey Krprice, I've been using my provari on a 2.2 ohm carto for the past week or so, haven't gotten an error. I'm running it at 3.7v and have been able to bump it up to as much as 5v, but that's a dry and nasty vape. It was comfortable at 4.2 but I've found it starts to taste burnt after a day of vaping.

Using Boge LR cartos. What resistance are the cartos you're trying to use?

; ; I just started getting the E5 error, only solution is to contact provape. Such a bummer. Only 2 months old and have been babying it.

Just ordered a lavatube from canvape for a replacement since it'll take provape 3 weeks to ship it back to me if it needs serviced. That'll teach me for not buying a backup before something like this happened.

Gonna be a long week lol
