Weird provari problem..

Ok.. this is weird I am sure, but wondering if anyone else has the same issue. I guess it is not really an issue since my provari functions fine otherwise... it really is a great device. Here goes:

When I am vaping, if I touch the drip tip to my teeth or bite down own it (using the platic type.. don't know if it does it with an SS type) I can hear a high pitched noise in my head.. almost like I am hearing the PWM or something. in the lips only, not a problem...

I know, I know.. don't bite down on it.. yea yea.. I have been a pen biter for years, so it is just a habit.

Anyone else seen this..?

Tried a lavatube, doesn't happen there. Tried other carto's (all boge, but a different one for comparison) same thing..

Try cleaning the treads of the 510 connection on your Provari, I've heard this will minimize or even eliminate the high pitched buzz. Some say that its due to the atty/carto not grounding properly due to a dirty connection.

This is only hearsay as I do not have my Provari yet, shipped today!

The body of the ProVari is half the electrical circuit, so it's possible.

Noalox is your friend, you can pick it up at any home improvement center. I got a 6 oz container (smallest they had) for less than $10, and it's pretty much a lifetime supply. Every couple weeks I clean the threads with some isopropyl alcohol, then put just a tiny dab, about half the size of a pencil eraser, on the tip of my finger and smear it into the threads. It keeps everything working the way it's supposed to.

Ok, first thing we need to clear up, your not a dog right? lol J/K Ive been trying to get that result out of my mini but I cant seem to replicate it. But its interesting and Ill look out for it as my threads get dirty on their own. Thanks for the post frazz. Let us know if you figure it out or decide to send it back.

I can't seem to replicate it either, although I have heard the high pitched sound before and it was remedied by cleaning the threads.

OK - and did you put on some Noalox? It helps the electrical connection between the screw-on base (the negative post of the battery) and the rest of the unit.

So... are you talking about Noalox on the end-cap or the threaded part of the 510 connector or both?

I get this occasionally. Especially noticeable with a delrin drip tip and if you let it press on a tooth while you vaping.

Not on the carto or the top of the ProVari, just on the threads between the screw-on battery cap and the body of the ProVari.

It could be the Provari is Interacting somehow with the Mind Control Microwaves that Tobacco Companies release to keep People from Quitting Analogs.

This is the Only Effective way I know to Block them…
