Thank you so very much!!!
I'm wondering if the SafeCig prefilled carto had a DeKang tobacco flavor? I've been reading that a lot of the prefilled cartos that companies sell are DeKang.

Maybe my taste buds like cheap liquids lol.

I hear a lot of good things about Backwoods Brew, but I also see that a lot of people LOVE FSUSA, which I haven't had good experience with.

I did the same thing. I ordered 120mg of Ry4 from them without sampling it first. I suspected that it needed to steep for a while. I got "hot sauce" in the flavor, but not jalapenos. I took the cap off of the big bottle and put it in a dark place safe from "kitty" overnight. The next day, I tried it again, but still too much hot sauce. I poured some of it into a 10ml empty bottle and capped both. I shook the heck out of both bottles. It took a couple of days for the little bottle to steep until it wasn't spicy anymore. When I emptied the next portion into the bottle a week later, it was an "entirely different animal". It became an all day vape for me. And it just got smoother and mellower as time went on.
This is me exactly!!! I have only tried ry4 from one supplier, Viking vapor, and it really wasn't bad. I just knew I'd like fsusa's version, because so many others do. So during the sale, I ordered a 120 ml bottle without sampling. It tasted like spicy root beer yesterday when I got it.. Thank you so much for easing my mind as to whether it will get better!!

Yes, I would say a very, very high percentage of prefilled cartos are Dekang.
In fact, the only one I know for sure is not would be Blu, which hooked up with Johnson Creek recently.

It wasn't long ago that 90% of the juice on the market came from Dekang.
And I don't know of any USA made juices other than Johnson Creek that are in prefilled carts.

The only thing I liked from Backwoods Brew was their malty toffee.
I didn't really care for their 555, applewood tobacco, or honey flue cured.

I was recently surprised by a distinct cayenne or hot red pepper flavor in BWB Casablanca. This had steeped for several weeks - I did not get this flavor from any of the other BWB flavors at all. It was definitely a pepper, because it literally cleared my sinuses! I even thought about keeping it around in case I have a cold, but I get stomach pains vaping anything spicy, so I'm staying away from it.

I find it important to point out that others have said they detect nothing peppery about BWB Casablanca, so it might just be the batch that I got it from, and all other BWB juices I have tried do not have any pepper flavor at all, so please don't hesitate to try them - they really are outstanding juices.

Haven't got in in yet but am hoping to high heaven it wont taste like jalapenos!

I just tried the RY4 again, I've had this sample bottle for 2 weeks, this is what it taste like to me... On inhale I taste a sweet / sour heavy mixing cream and on exhale I taste jalapeno.

I hope it's different for you.

I've been reading about DeKang flavors and read that there are fakes around. How do I know who sells the real thing? I'm thinking o making an order for some flavors at Valley Vapor, they say they are Dekang.
The ones I got from there are in the correct type of Dekang bottles with the correct type of Dekang labels.
And of course, they taste exactly like they are supposed to.

:)

I placed an order with them last night of mostly tobacco flavors (Tobacco, 555, DK Tab, USA Mix, Menthol.... and I got Watermelon too)

I hope I can find at least one I like. I'm excited to try them!

If I convince myself before my shipment comes that it wont taste of jalepeno but Caramel will it work?
The mind is a powerful and mysterious thing, so yeah, maybe.

There are plenty of people that really like it.
And plenty of poeple who don't think it tastes like jalapeno.

Hope that helps.

Ok, so I've now had the Ry4 from Fsusa for almost a week, and in my opinion the spicy taste is gone! It's not as sweet as I wouldve expected, in fact not sweet at all, but it is definitely a decent tobacco flavor! It's amazing (to me) what a difference just a few days can make! To me, it's now a lot like what the OP was looking for now!

Here's is my two cents worth.
Truly, when I buy a tobacco flavor from a supplier, I don't want to take the time to let it "steep".....
If that is what it takes I don't want it, period!.. I have some samples from BWB and FSUSA that have "steeped" for over two months and each of their flavors taste the same. The base liquid they both use to make their juice from is what I don't like. No matter what flavor they are using they all taste like they were all made from the same unflavored juice batch, respectively.

Too bad there isn't a thread that tells what each supplier is using as a base in their "special" recipies.

Nhaler tobacco liquid, to me, has the least intrusive base flavor of all the ones I've found. Their tobacco liquids are flavored like advertised, no "steeping". Camule tastes like a fresh camel. 555 tastes like 555 etc... Anyone here agree?? Or are my taste buds just beyond repair? Some constructive input would truly be welcome.
