Weird taste

Hey all.

First when i started vaping i had these amazing liquids that i've been buying, than i started mixing the liquids by myself.
Liquids were really good, sweet and smell really good.
But now i started getting weird tastes, for example the old liquid i mixed like 3 weeks ago, maybe more, that has caramel flavor has weird texture that i cannot even explain, maybe burned suggar? no idea, could that happen coz the liquid is too old?

Now i just got new flavors today, did a strawberry liquid 50/50 pg/vg .
Its horrible, it kinda has deodorant texture or if u press the air out of the coca-cola or sprite bottle to your mouth when its empty and you get that gases smell and NO sweetness at all. Dunno i might sound stupid right now but i really want to understand is that the liquids fault or my coils???

Suggest you make small DIY batches of those flavors that you think do not need steeping and vape them immediately.
Do what works for you.

Try reducing the voltage of your vaping device. Ultra sweet vapes have a tendency to burn at high temperatures. They also clog coils. You may also want to reduce the percentage of ultra sweet flavoring when making the mix.

Some caramel flavors take a few weeks to steep. Maybe that one has finally steeped and you are just now realizing you used too much flavor? Some strawberry (and other berry) flavors have a chemical taste to them that you can evaporate off by leaving the cap and spout off the bottle for a couple of hours after you mix them.

If you want better advice, list the brands and exact flavor and what percentages you used. It's likely someone here will have experience with them and can give you better advice.
