Been vaping for a few months now and it's a lot better than smoking. I've been using disposables but I'm still overall happy with it as an analogue.

One question though: does anyone else get this weird, dry feeling on their teeth after vaping? It's hard to describe, it's like they feel rough somehow. Any ideas what might be the cause of this, and how I can get rid of it? I have very good oral hygiene generally and like my teeth feeling as smooth and clean as possible.

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard of this particular problem before.

What brand of disposable are you using?
I'm using Elf bars (because they're everywhere).

Dry mouth is a common side effect of vaping. Perhaps that's what you are feeling. Try increasing your fluid intake.
I heard it could be this, but I drink heaps of water and it doesn't really feel any better after I drink.

Actually, I remember watching pbusardo when he did juice reviews and describing a chalky taste some of them had. I had gotten that a few times, but I can’t remember what that was attributed to. It seemed to have something to do with particular flavor profiles.

Also, beware the elf bar brand is now one of the most counterfeited disposables out on the market.

    Welcome @issokayman

Yeah, sometimes some people having some "side effects" and it's difficult to find the reason... some people having some "side effects - issues" because they have changed the way that they getting their nicotine ( isn't exactly the same way as the cigarettes and a different nicotine... in a way...) ! Or yeah it's just some ingredients of the e-liquids... !

I think the best way is to get another type of device - kit - whatever you like... but one that you can choose your e-liquid, so you can use whatever you want to... ! Just my opinion... !

    Plus...
A month isn't that long...of course it depends on how long - strong smoker you were back in the day... !?
Probably you are going to find some other "changes" because day by day you end up cleaning more and more from cigarettes, and your taste, your smell are going to get better and better... and eventually back to normal... ! Again just saying... !

The reason for this is that both vegetable glycerine and propylene glycol are humectants. Which means that they draw moisture away. It is part of what makes your vapour cloud. They draw water from your lungs while working their magic. so the more you vape the more water you need to replenish, This can actually be extremely hard to achieve. You might drink bucket loads of water while you vape, however it stll might not be enough for the moisture drawn out for your particular style of vaping. If you are still finding this, either FORCE yourself to hydrate more or cut down on the humectant vapour. Try a stronger nic content and lesser coils, or just try not to get addicted to that nice flavour so much. You will see that these symptoms go away. like the dry flaky skin. Humectant. Humidify yourself with the water and less of the dehumidify. Up the nic.

Nah not true dat. I will not partake in a conversation where someone suggests that I am a hater and says that my sad reaction was about hate just for having an opinion instead of... wait for it... being sad about that particular comment and making one of my own. Sounds like Tartare sauce is hating. Laterz dudez
