Weird things when you quit smoking

Oh yeah...going through laundry that I haven't done since before I quit three days ago and saying, "damn that stinks!"

I'm about a month in and strangely for the past week I have had this strange feeling that there is a small something in the back of my throat, I'm beginning to think that it may be some very solid mucus, so I've been considering getting some mucinex to loosen it up if that is the case. I also think that it may be some sort of something on the back of my tongue but who knows. Anyone had anything like this happen?

I know less about the happenings in my neighborhood. I was an outside smoker and I knew everything that was going on because I was outside a lot. Now, I vape in the house and have no idea what is going on outside.

I also have an extra pocket now. My front left pocket was always for my cigs and lighter. Now I have an empty space there and it feels weird sometimes.

Will go away after a little while. I don't have an explanation for you, but I've dealt with the same thing every time i've switched to the ecigs. Also went from a chest cough to a throat cough.

Both my dad and I were deathly frightened that we would have a mental lapse and try to light our ecigs. We each threw away ever lighter we owned, as far away as we could.

I concur with the extra pocket, front right was my cigs and light pocket for 10 years... i feel like I need to get something new to put in there now!

I get this as well, it has been notably irritable for the last 4 or 5 days. I thought it was a tonsil stone but upon further inspection with the flash light it seems to solely be irritation. I have noticed that 24mg juices definitely cause it to inflame worse, so I may have to go purchase some PG to water those down with.

I don't think it's the nicotine levels, as I've been vaping 24mg all day and had no issues, but it's just a come-and-go irritation... I'm sure it will go away... Also, drink more water... could be from dehydration... i've been drinking tons more water lately...

I have a strange habit of saying (out loud): "Wallet, Phone, Keys, Cigarettes, Lighter" as I check each pocket to make sure I have everything. It has been a few months without cigarettes or a lighter, but I STILL say (and check) for them every single time I leave the house, get out of my car, or head home from work. That habit is harder for me to break than smoking....

Nobody has EVER told me my vapor smells like pee...
So what flavors are you vaping ????? I'll be sure to stay away from them.

Lemonade and other "sour" citrus flavors seem to smell like urine, and if you use too high of a voltage they can taste like they smell :/ My girlfriend yells at me any times I am using Vape Dudes Lemonade, and now that I notice it the flavor just isn't the same.

WOW, I guess not. No matter what, if you're thinking about it, it'll start to taste "yellow" even if it doesn't.

It's weird not having a lighter handy when you need to light a candle or to burn the oil from Kanthal wire. Also (and I realize I'm probably just very lucky) haven't had a cold since I stopped smoking.

I used to do the same thing out loud. Now it's "Cell, Wallet, Keys, PV, Batteries, Juice"


My chronic bronchitis that used to rear up ever 2 or so months has not come around since before I quit in June.

THIS! This bothered me so much in the first few weeks of vaping, that I now take the vaping outside. Wife asked "Why are you still going out? you know you can stay inside." I replied "My inner gossip is suffering!"

Really it's the opposite, I think my coworkers who smoke smell like they just ...... their bed and their cat and dog did as well, got up without showering and came to work. eewww. you nasty.
