First and foremost - thank you, Bryan, for making my switch to vaping a regular habit instead of a fleeting attempt :) I've loved nearly all the flavors I've tried, and your RY4 has been my go-to vape for a few months now.

One thing that I have to ask, though - is there any chance that you'd changed your Cheesecake Torte recipe recently? I ordered my first bottle on April 1st, and it was a fast favorite; it would've replaced your RY4 as my all-day vape if it wasn't so damned deliciously decadent. I loved it so much that I'd vaped the entire bottle within a month, so naturally I ordered another bottle the first week of May. After receiving this bottle, though, I'd noticed some different notes in the vape - it tasted a bit peppery and the thick, cream-cheesy sweetness which had seemed to nearly coat my mouth with my first bottle seemed thinned out and almost metallic, kinda like sugar-free hard candy. Though the first bottle had been delicious out of the package, I figured that this new one just needed to steep for a bit. I stashed it away for what's been 6 weeks or so now and have tried sampling it at least every other week, but the same taste remains. I still have 5-10 drops or so from the first bottle and there's a definite difference in the taste.

Has anyone else noticed this? By no means am I unhappy with my experience with HBV - I'm actually just about to place my next order ;) - but I am curious why I loved the first bottle and am not a big fan of the newer one! Both bottles were 12mg nicotine, 80/20 mix, with no special instructions. I'm wondering if there have been any ingredients replaced over the past few months or if maybe the flavoring ratios had differed between the two? If anyone else has noticed a difference, please chime in! Surely I can't be crazy here?

Hi Lot, I haven't had that yet. Im going to let all these bottles steep for a bit longer before hitting them the way I did on amaretto cherry sour. meanwhile I'm going to finish my other bottles from Mountain oak vapors and Tasty Vapors. I'm one of those what you like to call vaping social butterfly I cant stick to one flavor.

Same ingredients as before. Besides your taste buds and my human error there should be no differences. I will go ahead and put a replacement bottle in with your next order. ;)

Edit for: Just let me know on the special instructions if you would be so kind.

!!! Thank you so much! Everything I see from your company continues to solidify its position as the best juice vendor around. I'm sure there's a good possibility it's just my taste buds; I'm almost curious if this juice really just gets better and better as it steeps - so much that an older bottle would taste that much different than a newer one? :?: I guess I'll find out as soon as I sample the next bottle! (⌒_⌒#)

Again, THANK YOU; I really appreciate it! I actually had placed my order two nights ago, right after my earlier post. Your Highbrowbacco RY4 is addicting; my impatience got the best of me! I'm not sure if you've already shipped it....if you have, then don't even worry about it; I'll send you a PM with the order details ASAP.

I understand now, Orange de Sangre, perfect. I ate a fresh orange wedge, then vaped some Orange de Sangre. The Orange de Sangre was better. How do you do that? How do you make an orange flavored e-liquid taste better than the real thing? It is the most wonderful balance of orange flavor. Not to strong while still being unmistakably orange. Vaped it all night while drinking Shock Top beer. How am I supposed to find an everyday vape when all the Highbrow flavors are so good.

Put the Orange de Sangre in the 1.5 ohm DCT tank and it is soooooo good! It's thin enough that the tiny little hole on the carto is good enough, no need to use the hacksaw this time :)

I know they're both cartos, but the taste in the DCT tank seems much cleaner than the big EMDCC that I was using, less filler makes a difference maybe?

Hi all, just found highbrow and have been reading some of your posts. As I can only vape vg I am excited to find you. I am trying to decide which ones to try. I do have a question..I bought a twist last week and am loving it. Not only does it vape great, it is purple. I also got some stardusts to try and these things are awesome. I have read that they crack with some juice. Has anyone had this happen with highbrow juice? Specifically the orange or lemon ones. I am so looking forward to trying these juices, but don't want to give up these stardusts..i think the filler in the cartos has been making my juice taste less than it should. Thanks for any input.

Kind of a tricky question, not because of the juice you are asking about so much but more about the Stardust you bought...

First about the juice... I haven't heard of any problems with the HBV's juices and cracking with certain clearo's yet... I have some of the Orange and in the Vision eGo Clearomizer v2 I bought, I haven't had any problem. Now onto the possible issues with "Stardusts" etc... this will get a bit complex because of several factors...

Stardust is a TM name that was given to the Vision eGo Clearomizer by GotVapes ( which is used on all versions that have been sold by them )... If you didn't purchase them from GotVapes, who you purchased them from shouldn't have used the Stardust name. They may have mentioned that name in the description, but they should be selling by the name of Vision eGo Clearomizer which is really the same product if it isn't a fake or a clone. If you didn't by from GV and it was actually named a Stardust, you may have purchased a fake and all bets are off. Ok, the naming thing aside ( and isn't really too important except in identifying possible fakes )...

Next, There are several versions of the Stardust and/or Vision eGo Clearomizer and only the v2 version ( until today when a new one was just released, more on this later for info only ) had the plastic that shouldn't be affected by the juices you mentioned... the previous versions did have cracking issues. There is also some confusion on the version numbers... the very first one had no version number, the second was called v1 and then of course came v2 ( this gets worse when I tell you of the latest version lol )... I mention this because I've seen some companies "correct" the version numbers and call the last one v3... If you aren't confused yet, I am enough for both of us... lol.

Ok, I mentioned a new version was released today... and it has been. GotVapes is selling it as a Stardust Rebuildable and Visions name for it is Vision eGo Clearomizer 2.0 ( notice there is no "v" in front of the number here ). I have no idea what name other companies are going to sell this one under, I'm glad that GV at least didn't use the "2.0" name to avoid some confusion with their sales though. These should be very cool though... they can be easily disassembled for cleaning and the heads are replaceable or rebuildable. In addition, the heads should also work in the newly updated ( and fixed ) Viva Nova v2.5 tanks which are now out. So if you like the Stardusts... you should love these new ones if they work anything like the newest Viva Nova's.

Ok, back on topic again... The last issue with these... There are a ton of clone versions, usually marketed as just eGo Clearomizers, which are made by many companies now, some good and some really bad ones. There are also a whole bunch of fake ones as well that are being marketed as the Vision branded ones and aren't.

So, if you got a real one made by Vision ( Stardust or Vision eGo Clearomizer ) that is at least the latest v2 ( non-rebuildable ) version... You should be fine with most if not all juices. I am using the word "most" here because full testing with all juices haven't been done yet... I just know of the one's I know that have a real v2, I haven't seen a report of cracking on them yet.

Clear as mud right... but hopefully it helped and explained a bit

Thanks for your detailed explanation. I got them from altsmoke labeled vision..while they work great I have determined that they are probably not v2. I have been reading up and am planning to order form got vapes..thanks for the heads up on the new one and I will check it out. I am also looking at the vivo. This is my first time to try something beside a carto so I appreciate your help.

We are working on a new Highbrowbacco flavor. Maplebacco! Jplanet got a sample but he has yet to comment here. Where are you JPlanet!?! ;)

Here I am!

I tried it when I first got it a few weeks ago - was not what I expected, so I let it steep for a bit and started vaping it again a few days ago. I just dripped some now as I type...

So far, the maple aspect doesn't taste like what I think of as a maple flavor. I don't think it's a matter of more maple flavor, as it seems to be the right amount of tobacco, and the right amount of sweetness.

Before I realized I couldn't have PG, BWB Maple Tobacco was a favorite of mine, so it could be that I'm inevitably going to compare it to that. On its own, with no expectation going into it, it's certainly a pleasant and satisfying vape! Maybe it's just a small tweak to get it there, or maybe it calls for a different maple flavoring - I leave such contemplations to the Master Mixologist!

Hi all... I am a Highbrow believer:) My favourites are English Malt Toffee, Orange de Sangre (of course) and Cheesecake. I just re-ordered those in big bottles along with some new goodies to try. (I have reviewed them on my ECF blog.)

For all you OdS fans... how does it behave in clear DCCs? Any cracking? I would hate to waste precious liquid.

And Scribe: is your Strawberry Lemonade made with natural strawberry extract/juice? I ask because I am allergic to actual strawberry and thus can only use artificial strawberry flavourings. If this is a trade-secret-type thing feel free to reply via PM.

Highbrow rocks:)
