We have 4 or 5 big sandbars. The further out you go the deeper the drop from the sandbar. With low tide it does give you a really nice tidal pool to sit in and stay cool.

Oh really ? you have like a sandy pool to sit in out there ? LOL now that is interesting ! I really have to get over on that coast again sometime . I have actually only been on the beach once over there that I can recall. It was up by ST Augustine.
I am the next County south of St Augustine. I'm half way between St Augustine and Daytona. The coast and beaches here are very different from the gulf coast.
I did see that the coast is very different from the gulf coast . For some reason even the water looked different to me .
though I dont think I can really describe how it is that different . I have to say the pacific nortwest coast looks different from the atlantic too for some reason.

A weekend of beautiful weather and I come home to thunder, lightning, and rain.
It is lightning , and thundering here now too . Was nice out today until now though . I just wish it would cool down a bit .

Never, never, never, never will I move anywhere colder than it gets here. Right after I typed the comment about the weather our power went out. It just came back on a little bit ago.

Oh u poor thing you got sunburned ? A beach bunny like you ? I am surprised ! I know how you hate cold though. He really doesn't have a choice in going. I am sure they will come back down as soon as they can . He hates the cold too.
I was so into the book I was reading I lost track of time and forgot to put extra sunscreen on my nose and shoulders.
He he that is a cute lil av . I have gotten into a book that way ,, or a painting , and done the same thing. I hate being sunburned too !
Well, off to bed I go. I have got to go beg a friend for money tomorrow.
We want to do a firefighter pink shirt breast cancer awareness thing next month and we can't use County funds to buy the shirts so I hope to get him to donate the money. I must put on my feel sorry for me and give me a grand face. Wish me luck.

this ones for a wrist or equipment type bag , it wont fit on a lanyard bag as it is too large .
