This is true , however oceans just have sharks , jellyfish, eels , ect LOL
Actually the lakes here are big ones so you dont see the gators so much but they are there !

The week I moved to JAX, there was a picture on the cover of the paper of a gator climbing a chain link fence... I did not sleep well the entire time I lived there.

Ouch, I have not seen a gator with the ability to climb like that yet ! Wow . They are very fast moving even on land, which is something many people dont seem to realize, I personally tend to just avoid walking close to the shore of lakes or rivers . other then that I dont worry about it LOL>
However there have been people who have found gators literally in their homes upon coming home !

Yeah... There is a tube floating around of a small gator coming through a doggie door to get the dog food (dog too if it could catch it).
