Good morning/afternoon! I almost slept the whole day away! Hate doing that. Hope everyone is having a great day!
I could be way off base with the following statements....
That is a hard question to answer. I really like my SP...haven't put it down since yesterday.
But, I am definitely a fan of the VV. I like being able to change my voltage settings to achieve the warmth and flavor for a particular juice/carto that I might be using. That being said, you can also achieve the same thing by buying different ohm cartos and using a 3.7v device.So, I guess if I had to do it all over again and knowing what I (think) know now. I would have bought a VV from the start.
EDIT: Different ohm cartos like LR 1.5-1.7

You know I didn't think of different ohms carts to achieve the taste/flavor. I'm still trying to get a grip on all this. The mutimeter issue - I had won in a contest, and my brother said he thinks a wire/lead is loose is why I can't get a reading.

Could be. I have seen meters for as low as 10 bucks though if you can't get that one working properly. I even pocked one up a long time ago at a yard sale for a dollar.

I would love a vv, too... I actually have an ego clone that has 3 separate settings. It died on me and the vendor has sent a replacement. Other than that, all I have are my egos and a 5v pass through. Some juices are way better at 5v, but others will taste a little burned... That is where the vv would help. But, actually, all that really matters is the wattage! You can set the wattage by getting either a darwin or a kick. You add the kick on to your pv's. Once you find the watts for a certain juice, it won't matter how many ohms in your carto. I think it's ohms times volts equals watts (ohm's law). By being able to set the wattage directly, it removes the carto variable... Sheesh, now I probably have confused you even more, lol! If you always use the same ohm cartos, you don't need to even think about watts.

You're welcome.... There sure is a lot to learn about all this stuff and some of it isn't all that easy for me. This is my new hobby, so I tend to jump right in, very obsessive, lol! I love that there is still so much more for me to learn, taste and discover!
Afternoon folks! I have been enjoying this glorious Saturday, even though I should be putting up the brew wares and juices on my site... It's just so beautiful!
Indeed, I've not paid enough attention to all the new things going on. My 510's have lasted me forever, but I'm not getting bang out them any longer. I've got an ego pass thru, that I enjoy and trying to see what I can afford to move up to.
I've been jonesing for something new, but the budget has been really tight and some of this stuff is really expensive, it all adds up. I paid about $15 for that vv battery, but even that still has me wanting more...
Chief, I'm gonna have to check out the site.... Don't work too hard now!

I like Snus tend to jump in a with both feet and start running. However it sounds like Snus is a little more conservative than I. And no, I don't have the money either...unfortunately I think I have more money than I do.
I am just lucky that tax time and luck on winning has progressed me along further than I thought it would. I have always to a my dismay lived outside of my means. I'm sure it comes from my parents spoiling me when I was a child. But I digress, I really believe that for me VV is where it is at and I am sure that one day I will buy a Provari or Darwin even though I shouldn't when a simple box mod or LT would suffice just fine for a lot less money.

I gave up on credit a long time ago, it's WAY too easy to get in over your head! I stick to either prepaid cards or debit, so if I ain't gots it, I can't spend it... I'm already having way more fun than I thought... I still have some juices I haven't even tried yet. I will have some free cash soon, but not sure which way to turn... I'm trying to stay happy with what I have as I would rather be spending my money doing fun outdoorsy stuff, like camping! But, a really good sale could change that in a heartbeat!

+100000000 On not using credit cards!!!!! I too got into trouble years ago. I pay for things with cash now. If I don't have it then I don't buy it either. I just switched from analogs at the right time. Tax check and a couple jobs that were not expected. Plus luck of the draw.
Yeah, I have a hand full of vendors (sorry Chief) that I keep an eye on for sales for juice, cartos, and such. I am all about the deal...

Thanks GL and RedFox... I also have a sick dog on my hands, so a lot of my cash this month went to vet bills.... I'm lucky in that I won some juices and accepted a tc... soon, it will be time to give back....
