2 days of owning my vamo and it rolled off my bed. Good news is it still works bad news my protank snapped off at the bottom. Luckily I have 2 but I cant find the bottom piece instock at the normal places I shop at are sold out so sad! good thing I just bought a carto tank. But still so sad

Those bases are really bad! I had one bend, it still works but looks weird! It appears MVS has the bases in stock. 510 Kanger Protank Base (I didn't try putting it in the shopping cart though)

My first protank base popped off this weekend. I ordered 5 replacements from myvaporstore. They haven't arrived yet.

I hadn't dropped mine, but I did notice it was sitting crooked on my vamo. I applied a little pressure, trying to get it straight, and pop! I was worried that it was the threads of the vamo that were crooked, but when I put my backup protank on, it was fine.

I hope the MVS bases are good. That was the cheapest price I found. Figured if they were bad I'd just order more from elsewhere later, or upgrade to the new protank.

Well, I know there are knockoff heads, don't know about the bases. Of course, the kanger base seems kind of weak in this area, so who knows... A knock off might be attached better. Lol.

I've been fortunate. Dropped my Vamo outside on patio brick and the Protank and Vamo came through. Has a battle scar, but it's still intact.

Had a Protank roll off the counter in the kitchen and hit the tile floor. Scratch one Protank.

So I now have a spare base.

I'm more afraid of one of the PuriTanks snapping off at the threading than my Protanks.

I picked a few spare bases.
Will be handy to have around as spares, AND for testing my wick rebuilds.

The Protank 2.0 is supposed to address the weak thread/base design issue.

I don't have any PT's because my Evods and MT3S tanks work fine and I don't care for the flavor families known to crack plastic tanks.

I have had bad luck but I keep on keepin on and its gettin better. But I've still never thought about slippin back in to the cigarette habit so that's great.
As for my son he lives in a different state so he should have his stuff by Wednesday. My ex husband has started vaping and they live about 30 minutes from each other so ex should be able to help him out.
