I have the protank 1 that I bought when they first came out. I really love the thing. Can't beat a glass clearo for being able to handle any juice you throw at it.

The protank line is solid no matter what type of vaper you are. Good job, hope you like them. 
Ah thanks and yes I am excited to get away from the plastic tanks! A friend of mine has the protank II mini and I got to try it out which solidified my decision.

You'll love it. Used PT2's and the mini versions for quite a while until I moved onto cartotanks.
none of my 3 minis have leaked. i haven't used my normy sized pt2 since i'm waiting for the air flow controller for my zmax v3 to come.
I have been using 4 of those for over 2 months. No leaks, no gurgles, no fuss, no muss. I just love them to death.
If you have ANY issues with them at all, I can guarantee the problem will be in the coil. If it leaks from the bottom (not counting a single drop on the battery connector, which is normal), the coil will be loose in the base. Tighten it and you will be good to go.

Protanks are loved by many and loathed by some too.... I have several PT 2's and I love them. Coils are fairly cheap to buy and even cheaper to rebuild.
I loathe them and love them. Love the simplicity and loathe sounding like Darth Vader.
Based on the research I have done and what I was looking for in a clearomizer, everything pointed to these. I am confident that I will love them. Got them for a great price too, $13.75 and free shipping! Thanks for the reinforcement everyone!
I love my mini protank 2's, more even than the protank 2. I like having smaller ones because I change liquids a lot and the mini's just 'feel' better dunno why.
With the urge to buy more supplies that is! 3 Weeks into vaping and I decided to upgrade from the iClear 16 that came with my PV to Kanger Protank II mini. I just ordered 2 and can't wait for them to come in!
The trick is to try just one or two of different cartos, clearos, various toppers, different resistance, different wicking. Your own flavors and PG / VG ratios will vape differently and it depends on what you like the best. Everybody here has their own favorite topper, their own favorite voltsge - wattage, their own air flow (tight or loose airy pull), favorite wicking material, favorite flavors, finding yours is where a bit of experimentation comes to the fore.
All the toppers seem to have their own methods of modding, tips and tricks, fixes and likes / dis-likes. Go slow and try a variety, see which works best for you. Keep the "less than optimum" in your stash box, as you gain experience you may discover simple changes in juice or wicking or coils that makes them stand up and sing....

Threw my batteries from my Vamo in the charger and fired up my PT2 with a charged twist and was actually impressed. Glad I didn't give em away. Goes to show...
I love mine, just sometimes they wanna act up that is when i break them down clean them and they are good to go again. You will get a little juice leak from them but all in all good tank for how cheap you got them. Watch out for bad replacement coils you can get off the internet ! Good luck and Vape-On !
As with anything, you have to be careful buying anything off of the internet now a days. It is such a sad world we live in. So far I have had good luck (knocks on wood) and have only purchased from the Vapingtown through Ebay. He does not seems to carry the replacement coils so I will have to research when it comes time to get those.
Unless you want to try your hand at rebuilding, you definitely want to have extra coils on hand. I'm not knocking the Kanger heads, just bear in mind that they are a mass-produced item and you can occasionally run into a bad one.
As far as I know, Discount Vapers has the best prices on the replacement Kanger heads.
That being said, I bought two Kanger ProTank 2's, two Anyvape Davides (a copy of the PT2) and I still cycle the same heads among them when they're in rotation, I just keep rebuilding the same coils. The spares are still in their blister pack
I am still new to everything so please forgive my newbness lol. Can you provide links to rebuilding the coils for these tanks? This may be something I am interested in learning. Thanks!
LMAO Ironically I just watched this same video! It seems easy enough I would just need to figure out where to get the supplies. If I do somehow screw this up, is there any way it could damage my battery?
