Fantastic. I'm trying to restrain myself from snagging a gold ano Grand. I've spent my Woodvil money twice now and really need to not spend it a third time lest I be unprepared when they go live. Gold ano is definitely in the cards once my Woodvil needs are met.

Nothing buy lady friends in my life for the last 13 years, but the wife was very understanding all of the 35 years we shared together.

I was wondering if this was the same gold as the one you got from Jan. Hard to tell in pics, but thought it was. This is really kewl cuz I thought that was a thing of the past. I'm with you, I like SL doors ok, but prefer a solid mod.

Working on it Papa. Color/finish choices is the only limiting factor, but I've started to get some color in my group finally with the last two and that is a great thing.

I'm not one to give names to mods normally, but I think you've hit on the perfect one for this Reo.... I'll call it Fool's Gold!

It fits in many ways... among them when bought, its owner, and as one who was a serious amateur abandoned & active mine and cave spelunker most of his life digging out a large collection of gems, mineral specimens, lapidary material and fossils. Did keep a few exceptional "fools gold" specimens I found as representatives of it. But the targeted version back in the 70's/early 80's was Limonite pseudomorph Pyrite. It was fairly rare in large cubes and cluster specimens and so eagerly sought after by collectors worldwide. I knew where a huge deposit of it was just below the surface hidden away on a high hillside in a very small remote mountain range that took a good 4X4 to get to. Still have a couple of specimens from there.

That's not true... all the gold currently available is SL's, as in gold LP/SL Reo Grands and gold SL doors. By "solid one" Rob was referring to getting one that is all gold when at the time both listings were for gold/black combos. He now has all gold LP/SL's listed as well.
