Ok so after a couple weeks of reading reading posting and more reading I finally did it and placed my first DIY order.

Just to make it easy on myself I ordered everything from wizard labs. Think I was a kid in a candy store and went a little overboard :D

I ordered:
2- 100mg/120ml nic in vg base
1- 500ml pg
1- 500ml vg
5- syringes of each size
10- blunt tip needles of 14gauge and 18 gauge
10-30ml bottles
20-3ml bottles
1- 50mm glass funnel
2- 10ml graduated cylinder
2- 25ml graduated cylinder
35- different flavors (TFA)

Well umm think I might have over did it a little for my first order:ohmy:

Thanks everyone that has been giving me tips and advice thus far to get me started on this DIY adventure:D

For all the experienced DIYers out there I already know I have forgotten some things so any advice and/or suggestions on additional items I should place an additional order for please let me know :) Thanks again

I felt the same way too when I placed my first order. I wanted to hit the $65 mark to get free shipping.

When I got the order, I thought, "jesus, why did I get so many flavors?" Vial after vial after vial, I got about 30.

I don't regret it one bit. It's great because I can look at recipes and I have many if not all of the flavors.

I placed my first DIY supplies last night from wizard labs. I think i went overboard too. I got 500ml 36mg nicotine liquid, 1 gallon vg liquid, 26 flavors, and a bunch of syringes. I think I am going to mix right into the bottles I already have, or at least that is the plan. Bad thing is even though I got all those flavors I already found some recipes for flavors I didnt get and I really dont want to spend any more money. I think I will be good for awhile!

When I get 100mg/ml nicotine, I do one big mixing session to dilute the nic down to a safe level for mixing. I mixed mine down to 24mg/ml 65pg/35/vg, and store them in 30ml brown glass boston round bottles with phenolic caps. I store them in the freezer and when I want to mix I pull 1 or 2 out and let it stand to get to room temperature. The calculator makes it easy to get to any ratio I want.
So, you may want to get some glass bottles.
Also, don't forget to use packing tape to cover the numbers on your syringes, they disappear if you don't.

...or the clear nail polish to cover the numbers, although it might seem awkward to buy if you're a guy!!

Admitting to getting all this stuff just makes a person part of the tribe here...everyone's just nodding in agreement as we read this...we should all get together for a big swap party!!!
