That does suck! Sorry. I've got 2...had them a few months. No problems yet.

Innokin has a warranty. I had to contact them over an extender that went out. They replaced it fairly quickly. I can't remember the details of the warranty. I know the first 3 months its the reseller who holds the warranty. After that Innokin picks up the warranty up to a year I think.

Always - backups for my backup. I'm still bummed.
I don't really use the vv/vw, so I might just get new 510 connector (it was starting to go anyway) and rebuild it as a mech. I love the form factor of it more than anything else I've seen.... and I've been looking. ;)
If I can sell or trade my brand new panny 18650b's for something mech appropriate and just put a battery monitor in the window, this may turn out to be a good thing and I'll only have to invest a little more to get it working reliably. Or so I'm telling myself. Still mega annoyed.

I like the idea of using it as a mech if one of mine burns out, I would not of thought of that. I plan on JB Welding the base of a 91% to my stripped out VTR so turning it into a full mech in the future isnt that bad of an idea if it really goes south.

akpostal, do you know what size screwdriver you used?

Thinking about getting something like that, but I don't know if 23mm is too big or not. Looks to me like the vtr uses a 22mm connector.

I'm actually starting to get excited about this idea. Good thing it broke... ;)
