So I gave up on Boge a few months ago and I've been using the Vivi Nova and Kanger T2s. But I did notice I got a different composition of flavours and better tastes with some liquids in boges, so I want to try flavours in a boge as well, to get a better idea if I like them or not.

Anyway .. I opened up one boge and noticed something wasn't quite right with the coil.

The "odd" one is on the left, compared to a normal boge on the right (from the same package no less).

what the !@#$ boge.jpg

What are you guys using as a replacement cartomizer and where can I get them cheaply. I was just starting to like my ~$1/cartomizer with surevapes. I recently bought the Siam mod punch and would like to get a carto tank or three, but from what I've read Boge's quality has gone up, but is still sub par.

I still have a few boxes of boge cartos from a health cabin sale but wanted to find a suitable replacement too. I ordered a pack of kanger horizontal coil cartos bc they seem to have a cult following....... i was underwhelmed but YMMV. The Ikenvape fusion cartos are supposed to be good but i haven't tried them yet.

After getting a pack of 5 pre-punched boges in SR for my smoke tank, and a pack of 5 LR boges, then out of those 10 only having three working i started asking the same question. What i got back....

The ViVi Nova Tank $15.95

The best Cartomizer experience out there, and no more of this bogegate grossness :D

Opps you said Kanger and vivi nova.....I did not have my glasses on....see what you get to look forward to when you get older?

Now, if you are using a ego or similar device (up to 4.2V) and you want something like the boge's, here goes:

From Jughead's the ce3 (aka firebird) $1.99 each. (yes i know they do not look like the kanger/vivi nova, but they give a taste like the boge's and they have NEVER had kangergate!) the wrapping/polly fill inside is put in looser, this is to allow for better juice absorption

From CEV the kanger cartomizers $10.95 for a five pack (they seriously out preform the boge's.....and purr at about 4.8V)

Have you thought about dripping? Vision 510 bridgeless atomizer from Vaporus $5.99 each not to shabby for 3.7V devices, at about 4.6V they really kick out the good stuff

Or you could look into the stardust's (Revision 1, 2, or 3 are good, or you can get the Version 2 with replaceable heads)

Or maybe 510 tanks? I had a couple for review sake and they are not that bad either, but keep them at 3.7V, just saying....

Lastly if you want something boge like, then why not try......

Vision 510 clearomizer from Vapourus $3.99 great little suckers and i loved the ones i had....just have not gotten around to replacing them.....well not till i am home anyway ;)

Aside from my last Faux Pas i am hoping this is going to offer some form of help.

- = ~ disclaimer: I do not have anything to gain be it financial, credit or other from the companies listed, and these are recommendations based on my own actual use, be it for review purposes or for personal purchase. In the end whatever you use that keeps you off cigarette's, you find preform great and will not break on you in a week is the best option ~ = -

Maybe I'm missing something, but the bottom coil firebird looks nothing like a kanger/vivi nova, and are a completely different design. Not to mention there is no polyfill what so ever. It's a clearomizer with a wick/coil at the bottom. And as much as I love jugheads, the same product from canvape, sold in a 5 pack, will also get you the syringe with two tips for filling instead of having to buy it separately.

Either way, I do agree they have fantastic taste and vapour production. Can be pushed quite well to higher volts and a simple sand/grind on the bottom of the air tube will allow for real thick juices to wick even better.

That was supposed to read "do not look like" and i made the proper corrections.

As for canvape, a pack of five will cost you $9.95 for one syringe and two extra caps? 0_o you can get 5 from jugheads for the same price, plus extra syringes and like 3 caps per fire bird ($1.99 X 5 = $9.95) but that is just me though......

Anyway the op was looking for some suggestions and that is what i gave, and who i felt would be the best for quality imo.

I've gone with the 801 Fusions. You have to use a 510-801 adapter, which makes them ride a little high, but so far they have been excellent cartos. Great VTF all around and I haven't hit any duds. They'll even fit in tanks if you punch or slot them, though they also make the tank ride high -- but I can deal with that. I did recently get a box of standard Boges from Urban that all turned out to be okay mind you -- perhaps not quite lasting as long as they should (~4 days) but still not as bad as they had been. I'm also using a SmokTech DCT with a dual coil that's turning out well. Took about a day or so before it started taking in juice properly but now it's working fine. So it looks like the two biggies are getting back on their feet but not quite there yet.

So until then, I'm sticking with the Fusions.

Which reminds me, gotta do my review on them.

I've stuck with boge. I choo choo choose them over anything I've tried. I did hit a rough patch with some lr shorty (35ml) stainless ones a while back, like busardo said it tasted like turkey bacon and was short short. Normally two things I like. Shorties with Short shorts and bacon...mmm. But not in the context of cartos. I've been getting the xl sr stainless ones from canvape and so far all systems go.

I love my 2.5 ml large resurrectors. I have been swapping out between 2 of them since Sept. 1st, using nothing but 100% VG juices, and they are still going and the flavor is still amazing in them. I gave up on the Boges. Also, I have never had a Resurrector dud yet. I got tired of duds. It was like the vendors throw 1 or 2 duds into every box or some sort of conspiracy of ways to get rid of duds. lol.

I switched back to kangers (lr, horizontal), as I like them better anyway. However, I'm having a really frustrating time with them now too. I don't know if I've somehow forgotten how to punch them or if they've changed too. I normally punch two fatty holes in the bottom and one near the top and always had fantastic vaping with them. Now, however, they simply will NOT feed any liquid inside to the carto. I have to keep dripping into them to keep them going and the quality of doing that is pretty subpar. I'm on my third pack and every single carto has done it to me.

Things I've tried:

-number of holes and placement in pretty much every combo imaginable
-massive dry pulls
-putting my finger at the bottom of the carto and drawing hard

I just don't get it and other options are limited to me because of my 100% vg. I have a vivi nova on the way and I just made a purchase for an atty, but those were meant to be toys to try out and not a replacement for my current setup.

A buddy of mine told me that this has been a recent issue with kangers due to the filler, so I'm pretty tempted to quit vaping soon.

When I got my kangers, I opened up a new 30 ml bottle of Hot Hazelnutz Cafe and filled my tank. I'm almost out of that bottle now and I've only filled my tank ONCE. It's still at the same level when I first filled it weeks ago.

I guess I just got lucky with my LR Boge 510 orders from HealthCabin. I ordered 1 box, and they all look like your second picture, and they all vaped great. I messed 2 up by punching too big or too many holes, but I think I've figured it out. I just finished ordering another 4 boxes, so I hope I have the same experience with those :)
