I just sent an email to several folks at my local new station. I'm trying to see if they would like to do a story on personal vaporizers in light of the recent coverage on the battery failure in Florida. I got my point across that I would like to see a story with a positive spin on PV's to try and educate the public on the safeness and wonderful attributes to them. Maybe I'll get a good response, maybe I won't! If they want to run with it, I'll post and let everyone know so that y'all can give me some links and information sources to get as much good information out to the public as we can. If there's anyone living in the broadcast area of WIS TV in Columbia, SC, I encourage you to send them an e-mail as well. Thanks! Wish me luck!

That's the main thing I'm worried about, if they do a story at all. I can provide them with loads of information about the safety and benefits, but it all comes down to editing and spin.
