I have No Clue what Alloy that wire is? LOL

Half of the people say it is Kanthal A1. The Other Half say it is NiChrome. But don't say what type of NiChrome it is. NiChrome 40, 60 80?

I would Steer Clear of it Myself.

Thanks man. Lucky I dont want any nichrome, and their kanthal is labelled better. Like I said was gonna order a few things on here anyway, dont really need the kanthal but figured i'd throw it in

Yeah Fastech wire is a crap shoot. Judge what it is based on the stated ohms per ft/M. I have ordered the "nich kathal" they sell. The 32awg I got was a Kanthal the 30 was Nichrome.

The listing I linked says clearly in the item details that it's Nichrome...not surr about other listings of course.

I have ordered this trying to get Nichrome.. Have recieved BOTH, some was surely Nichrome based on measurement and calculation. and other times Kanthal again determined via measurement.
I'm saying that description accuratley describes what they ship against it. You will surely get the gauge you ask for. whether it will be Nich or Kanthal, is a crap shoot.
