I heard the usps may still deliver packages on Saturdays, just no mail. I don't know how they define package but maybe it will cover our vapemail.

Yes, this is correct. USPS will continue Saturday delivery of Express and Priority mail. Thus, most Vaper Mail will continue to be delivered on Saturdays.

If they are still delivering packages on Saturdays couldn't they just deliver the mail with the packages. This doesn't seem like much of a money saver.

UPS and FedEx won't deliver in our area on Saturdays so I am already used to waiting for stuff on the weekends.

I would guess that the mailman will only stop at houses that get packages delivered. That could save them a lot of time and labor cost if most people don't get a package that day.

Estimated savings of $2.2 Billion per year. Saturday delivery will be much like UPS of FedEx usually is...limited delivery routes rather than mail delivery to every house.

International mail got hit hard with price raising. First class to to Canada went up over 60%. Mexico is no longer on the cheaper tier that Canada is. Lot's of grumbling all over the internet. Priority international flat rat envelopes went from $16.95 to $24, and that includes the discount for electronic printing.

Thinking myself and many others won't be shipping as often internationally, the cost is just too prohibitive for them :(

USPS, penny wise and pound foolish!
