...not too bad, but enough to keep me in vape mail for a few weeks, and probably enough to get the wife fussing at me for a day or two!

Ordered my first mech mod - a SS Nemesis clone - along with a Patriot V1.2 rda by Innovape mods, an EHPro Omega clone, 2X Sony 30A VTC4's, Nitecore Intellicharger i4, 100' of 28G Kanthal, and a big ole bag of Maxim organic cotton balls. On top of that, I'm expecting my Innokin VTR to show up any day now.

Going to try my hand at dripping soon, obviously, and think I might experiment a little bit with the surplus of Kanthal and maybe try a twisted microcoil build once it gets here. Heard good things about that route.

One of these days I'll finally be content with the vape gear I own and won't feel the need to keep buying new gadgets and gizmos, right?

...right?!

Grab some peaches and creme cotton yarn as well. Boil it for 15 minutes and let it dry. IMO it blows cotton puff balls out of the water.

You may be content someday, like any hobby the want for a new toy is always there. Just need to fight it. I have been fighting the urge to buy another mech for awhile.

Ummm.... I wish that was the case but the unanimous decision on people like us is a resounding no.

Just to help you should try the atomic and trident v2 after the patriot. They are AMAZING. just kidding

I'll definitely have to look into that! Worst-case scenario, the bag of cotton puff balls only cost $2 on Amazon and should last me the next gazillion years or so. :p

Sounds like all good buys to me dude. Just make sure you know the math before getting into mechs and building coils.

Absolutely. I've got a good bit of experience building coils now, but I'm definitely reading everything I can find on battery safety and sub-ohm builds. I'm eager to try it, but I'm in no hurry to melt my face off by doing it wrong!

Just wait til you start learning how to build nice micro/nano coils and all the variations, the nano dragon, tricro, etc. Even the super nano coil, then you have things like that clapton coil, the abyss, the agro coil, etc etc

Also, where did you buy your Sony VTC4s?

Or you could try this

You're going to like the VTR.. it is one well made and solid device.. you can drive a nail with it too.. just tap very lightly or you will bend the nail.

LOL, I've heard it's a heavy beast! But that works for me, as I plan to carry it at work and need something that can stand up to abuse. I like my little Vamo, but I'm afraid if I look at it cross eyed, something on it might break.

Must... resist... temptations... :nun:

battery wise, you are good, those sony bats can handle pretty much any build. just get a multimeter so you can check your builds for a short and there are a few online calcs that will tell you how many amps your pushing the battery with the build you have.

For me I find a 6 wrap single micro coil to be great, I wrap on a 5/65 drill bit and they come out to .7ohms. for dual I do two 8 wraps and they come out around .5ohms. Really simple to build and last a long time.

Thanks for the tips! And I have a nice Fluke multimeter, so I'll definitely be making sure everything checks out before putting it to use.
