Hi all,

I went back through all of my invoices since I started my vaping adventure 3 months ago in October of 2010. My total so far is $440.

Here's a breakdown:

vaping Hardware: $196
e-Juice: $244
Total: $440

So if I subtract the money saved on analogs from my vaping total:

$440 (vaping total)
- (minus)
$292 (money saved not buying analogs)
_____
$148 = is the total money spent on all things vaping when I subtract the amount that I would have spent on analogs. Not bad at all considering all the analogs I've missed, and how great I feel not smoking all those other chemicals.

What's your breakdown?

I don't wanna do a breakdown of my vaping costs, I'd rather be in the dark on that one . My last juice order was just under what you spent on juice the whole time you've been vaping, and I've bought juice 3 times this year. I'm counting my juice by the pound now, not the ml .

LOL WOW! I can say it also depends on my setup. When I was only dripping for the first portion of the time, I barely used much juice. But now that I fill my RS CE2 R4 PTB modded cartos instead, I use about 30-40 drops per filling and maybe fill twice each day. :)

POUNDS of juice...LOL!!

LOL I dont really want to acknowledge how much I've spent so far, but I know it's not as much as many of you have spent. I am new, only a month now, and I think I have broke even. I was lucky enough to have discovered the eGo mega early on (2nd PV) and now I just upgraded to the tank system, which I love, and cant see myself needing anything other that and future juices, which is WAY cheaper than cigarettes. So I'm good :) AND I feel great too and that's the shiznit right there and all I was really looking for.

I switched to an Ego and bought a bunch of carts, attys, cartos. Then got the tank and love it. So the non-tank stuff is my emergency supply. Also have extra batteries and charges. I've gone nuts buying juice to test. I've got enough juice to last for 4 months.

Hardware 481.76
Juice 204.95
Saved 282.26

Break even in 33 days unless I buy more stuff

I bought my first kits at an extremely high markup before I found this forum and Liberty Flights. I was able to get 2 ego kits there for the same price I bought my first 510 kit. Its going to be 4-6 months before I break even, but I am not worried about it. I think about the money I spent trying to quit smoking, on lozenges, patches, gum, etc. Those products cost more than analogs do! There are other savings to consider: health insurance, life insurance costs will decrease over time, hopefully medical costs down the road. I used to have really bad heartburn and probably spent 40-50$ a month on heartburn medication that I no longer need, etc... Overall even with the money I have put into this I would have paid double or triple to quit analogs! For me I can't really even put a price on that.

Oh geez, you guys have been so good. I will not tell how much I have spent, but I do wish I would have researched mods, and good mods at that first. I have spent a ton on useless 510's and their parts, bad mods, bad juice, and now a good mod, diy juice, and of course cartos, attys, batteries. If I can just whittle down to a good supply of the last 3 I may break even by the end of the year, lol! Also, got to quit looking at that Provari or the likes, or the beautiful Precise, GG's, you get the idea. I was only spending $30 a week on a carton of analogs, so I am waaaaaaay in the hole!
