I don't have any stores in my town. We took a little afternoon road trip to take the kids out and stopped by two stores in the town. One had good service and the other was just plain bad. Prices at both were very high. I expected them to be higher than online and I was ok with that, I like supporting small local business. But this was nuts. I was looking for an ego twist for my wife. On wanted $38 for what appeared to be the real deal. The other wanted $35 for an obvious fake. EVODs were $12. That's just to high when mom and pop online shops sell the twist $25 and the EVODS for $6. Oh well, online it is. I'd pay 10% more for local but not that much.

I have a B&M that gets my business fairly regularly - especially in a 'need to have' moment, but they are also the store that started me vaping and I feel I own some loyalty there as it was such a good thing to do.

They don't carry a large line of hardware and to exceed the 10% rule many have for buying at a B&M over online but I also know around here that the overhead a B&M has - especially around here - and one that does not stock in volume has. They carry several lines of juices and a few flavors I really like so I always buy those. One thing about buying anything from the B&M I use is that they take back anything that does not work or does not work as advertised - something you often don't find online.

You're absolutely right on the overhead. I stopped by my not-so-local-but-local B&M, and they wanted $15 for a vivi nova, which I bought because I wanted one and wanted to support, but I drew the line at the $9 they wanted for a $3 aluminium drip tip. I'm glad to know they are on my weekend travel route if I'm in a pinch.
