How much should I support the "Brick & Morter" stores?

The B&M closest to me, and which has been the most helpful, has outrageous prices. The staff has little control over pricing as it's owned by someone who is rarely in the store. I saw him only once, and he was not friendly. Still, I bot my first kit there and they gave me great advice it turns out. They continue to be very friendly and helpful so I buy some clearos, coils, wicks, wire, and some juice from them. But backup battery and itaste (which they don't sell yet) were bot online. The backup battery was half the price!

If you do not support your local B&M you will not have one when you need it. I am not saying let them bend you over the counter. But there is a lot of overhead in have a store front. I can tell you I live in a town without any B&M stores and it sucks. We have several discount cig stores that also happen to carry ego style starter kits very limited e juice flavors and not a single replacement part or rebuildable, no coils, no wicks, they only have ce4 clearomizers or disposable DCTs for $15.99 each. So yes give them some business but it's your call.

I wrestle with the same issue. I try to do as much business at my favorite B&M as possible. They are good people, and call me by name. I prefer juices I buy online but grab a few bottles there every once in a while if they come out with a new flavor I like (their prices are reasonable, $6.99 for 15 ml and $15.99 for 30 ml). I like to have lots of tanks so I probably buy 1 of 6 there vs. online. I bought a few extra batteries online though because I couldn't justify the price difference. I am planning on buying an mvp there though even though it's more expensive, just because I appreciate all the help and advice I get there. I really value the relationship I have with them, and want to see them be successful, so I will continue to shop there.

Even though I purchase a lot of items online, I always buy try to buy from my local stores when I can. I don't like spending a lot of time in a store without purchasing something, particularly if they have been helpful and courteous. Over the short period of time that I have been vaping, these are the same stores that have helped educate me and in fact one even turned me on to Fasttech. Have visited quite a few stores and some were not that helpful, but the ones that were, I will always be thankful for and support.

I prefer the 'try before you buy' juice to and am glad to support my local store as long as they stay within a reasonably priced range.
I have also bought some juice online, but only from one particular vendor that came highly recommended.
Not sure but I think he's on this sites vendor list: VaporChef

I have several shops around me and visited them all
they are all highly over priced --I would like to give support but they
only have one goal in mind, to make beyond the largest profit margin possible
most have nice people at the counter, some vape, some others barely know what it means

a little research and I found, about 30 min drive away, a cool Vape Shop that is great...
it's big ,with leather couches, music, has a bar (like a bar) with stools for juice tasting
the other side of the room is show cased with the 'gear'--it is always active and full of people
they have a full staff and all are always very helpful
kinda the "HIP" place to be--and their prices are very good--worth the drive
I don't mind spending a little $$ dough in there...

kinda reminds me of a 60's head shop :matrix:

so support goes both ways...

I buy primarily everything on line. Much of that is due to the hard to get nature of the majority of the equip. I use. That being said, I support local B&M's in other ways. I at least stop in every one I hear about and talk to the staff. Gauge their knowledge level and friendliness. I grab a stack of business cards, and I direct any new vapers I come across to a B&M based on location and relevance.

I do enjoy taste testing, and some boutique juices are becoming available here. Many of the B&M's are having local vape meets to support the local vaping community, and I always help out and enjoy going and meeting new vapers.

Point is: you don't have to spend money to support your local B&M's...

I just got on the waiting list at The Steampunk Vapory loung in Tacoma Wa
For a new steampunk mod coming out next month.
Not somthing i cant seeam to find on line. 1383393_499416780153673_2068451088_n.jpg.

Support your local store as much as you can. They will appreciate the business and you'll enjoy having a local store to visit, browse and purchase from.

If the difference in price is drastic, I respect online buying. But when it's close- it's a no brainer. At least that's my 2 cents

Galaxy S3, DarthStalker ROM & Kinetic Pulse Kernel.. Perfection.

So far i've only found 2 vape only shops in my area. So far they are freindly and although there is markup, i consider it paying for the ability to hold a product i might purchase online and able to taste whatever juice they have available. I usually spend about 20 bux at least for every visit. Either on juice or accessories or coils.
