Went to a different vape store and my experience was kind of bad

Well I have only been vaping for two weeks so far but started with a vape shop across from my job where the service is awesome and friendly from my experience of the 4 times I went there. So after looking up vape shops online I find another one that's not to far from where I stay and decided to go due to their flavor selection. I go in and everything seems fine at first there wasn't a lot of customers in there and they had a staff of about 6 people. So after exploring the flavor selection I ask one on the employees for suggestions on flavors. He seemed like he didn't want to be bothered so I asked again which he did respond by saying "all the flavors are good". So I ask "what is your favorite" he responds "that he likes all of them". So I start asking him about individual flavors and I keep getting short answers so I just stopped asking questions. After I picked out my flavors I tell him what I wanted paid for them and sat down to wait for them to be finished mixing. 20 minutes later I'm still waiting and to my surprise they forgot about mixing up my flavors. It might have been due to the tv in the background every one was interested in but it kind of ticked me off. So I finally get my flavors and leave. My experience here was not a good one but I will give them one more shot because it might have just been a off day for these guys

I would have given up after the lame answers.
I would not have trusted them to make my eliquid.
Making e liquid should be handled with more caution than making food.
And I would not trust these people to make my food.
Lots of crappy vape shops are popping up. It's just people trying to capitalize on a market they know little or nothing about.

My local vape shop also sucks. The staff are terrible. out of 5 staff only one of them actually vapes. I stick to online purchases nowadays. I bulk order to get free delivery works out cheaper than the actual local shop.

There are 2 vape shops in my city. One of them no longer gets my business because of a poor employee. I never said a word, I just never went back there. The other store is fantastic, and because of that, they get a substantial amount of business from me. Customer service is fundamental, a bedrock concept of a successful business. If they cannot get that right, what else are they doing wrong? I would prefer not to find out the hard way.

Try this next time. Walk in and ask for the owner. If not there then the manager. As long as whoever you end up speaking to isn't the same useless *&%$ you talked to the first time. Start off by asking how long does it take to mix a couple of flavors for you. when he says oh about 5 minutes or so, reply that's funny, last time I was here I had to wait almost a half hour. I was a litte concerned and was thinking that maybe somebody had forgotten about mixing them it seemed like what ever was on the TV seemed much more important to everybody here. and walk out. I had a similar experience, the owner followed me into the parking lot and asked if I knew who had helped me the last time I was there, I told him the girls name, he kind of rolled his eyes, that figures, she's not here anymore pulls out 4 or 5 freebie coupons and offered them to me. I told him no thanks and he almost begged for another chance. You would be surprised how many owner/managers don't know what is going on when they are not there. I frequent the business now and make sure he is there wehn I do. He always take time to help me and the service is getting better and better.

I haven't been to an official vape shop yet. My local smoke shop sells some vape stuff and they are real cool but I am not happy with their hardware/juice selection. They sell No.7 choice e juice (have had trouble finding out any info) and evo which while made in USA and has FEMA/Gras ingredients their juices don't really have a good flavor or much flavor at all. I have 2 bottles that have been steeping for 3 months now and still blah.

I do all my ordering online which has worked out great. Except for the drawer of crappy sample purchases! I try to mix them w/ mint and vape them during the night when I am half asleep. I really do not want to waste all that juice.

Next week I am going across town for a work thing and I am actually going to get to stop by a full vape shop that opened recently. I hope it is good. I have never done the store taste test thing so I am excited! I can't wait to actually check out the hardware in person!

In my experience a lot of vape shops seem to have been created purely to be a hangout for the novice owners friends. You'll walk in, see 2-4 employees and about 6 other people, all the same age, sitting on one area and chatting while vaping. No one is buying anything, and the employees barely notice you walk in the door.

There have been a few I've turned around and walked out of without saying a word. If I can walk all the way to the counter and find what I want without an employee at least noticing that I exist, then they don't deserve my money.

Good afternoon all I really hope someone can assist me as I am new to vaping about 2 months. My boyfriend got me a one when I got sick and I have not smoked a real cig since. However the e-go battery he purchased broke when I dropped it two weeks later, my coworker gave me a Torpedo V2 variable watt battery. I have been using cartomizers first cheap ones, those were horrible so I went to the local store they suggested bottom coil cartomizers. Those are ok however it seems like I am buying new coils weekly. Then I broke the Tabacc BCC which I loved had to run out to the only store in my town open on a sunday and purchased from Overstock Ecigs two Iclear 16D rebuildable catomizer. Three days and one atomitizer is bad now I am on day 6 and the other is not working properly either. the atomitizer ready shows 2.2 and I have it set on 3.3 it also shows it is a 2.1 oms the one that the shop replaced that stoped after three days and they replaced it with a 1.5 ohms atomitizer. Is this a result of a bad battery? as the settings randomly change on the display. yesterday I could change the setting from P6.0 to 11.0 and now I can only change it from U3.3 to 5 have no idea why this happens as prior to purchasing the Iclears I could only change from U3.3 to 5. and I am unsure why this randonly changes or how it changes. I feel like I vap alot and may also just be to much of a vaper to use a cartomizers like I have and was thinking of purchasing a Protank 3 but I am really unsure if 1. battery is good and capatible 2. are tanks better for heavy vaping? any assistance is greatly appreaciated this is my first post to the new members forum I sure hope I am in the right area as the rules are strick on this site.

Why on earth would you give them another chance, especially since you have a great shop where you work? After the short answers on liquids, I wouldn't even have given them a sale.

Each store you visit can be drastically different, no two alike. The industry is in it's infancy and we are still a small minority of the general public.

I stopped in a B&M that opened close to me just to see what they carried, what their prices were like, OK also if there was something I wanted but haven't bothered to order yet. I was vaping my own home-built VV mod with a Vivi top coil - DIY juice. The person behind the counter greeted me nicely, and made NO assumptions about my experience or knowledge.

He was using a DNA 20 mod with a Kayfun 3.1, I recognized it but didn't comment. We had a very nice 1/2 hour conservation about what types of mods I like, with what controls, wattage, resistance preferences, etc...:) He did excuse himself for another customer, n00b looking for something, anything...he explained a eGo and clearo well, answered all her questions well, explained how to maintain the unit, and made the sale.

They carried the MVP - VTR and the ever present eGo variety at reasonable prices, alas no top coil cartos of any type.

All in all a pleasant experience and I would go back to see their stock as they get more established. They knew how to do business, develop a relationship with the customer.

I'm pretty new to vapeing myself so I do check out the vape shops in the area a lot. I know there are better deals online but there is a market for B+Ms. The thing is going to a B+M is for customer service, if your going to the shop and no ones willing to help then what's the point. The shop I like to go has excellent customer service, the employees greet you when you enter and are willing to answer any questions they have. There are samples out of all the flavors for all the brands they carry so you know what you are getting before you buy it. I had an issue with a tank I bought at a different shop in a different city, brought it in and the owner was willing not only to look at it but break the entire thing down, give pointers on maintenance, and suggestions on what would be decent equipment to get when I was looking to upgrade. If I got experience like you got I'd leave, you have to earn someones business not just expect the customer to patronize your business because you are there.
