a little off the sub my hart and prayers to the young girl wit Cancer -- pleas corect me if i am rong but hospitals use a PG in there air santising system to remove water vaper and water/air born bactera and i rember that a vaperiser used in respotery illness uses PG as a med carer to the lungs ???
I guess the point that I was (poorly) trying to make was, some people don't want to listen do the safety of vapor speech. Most people have no Idea what an ecig is. There are ways to vape at places like grocery stores without people even noticing. I would just go that route. At a bar, vape away. That's a spot you could convert a smoker. You're not going to save a smokers life in the produce aisle of Kroger. Again though, don't get me wrong. I don't think second hand vapor puts anyone at risk.

Hi Russ and welcome. Unfortunately, managers and owners can tell anyone that they can't vape inside their establishment. Kansas has a "clean air act" but luckily enough, ecigs don't fall into the category as cigarettes. Downside, we can still be told to either not do it or leave. Me, I'm stubborn and will take my money and leave.

As for atomizers getting hot enough to change the chemicals, so far, I've never heard of it or read it anywhere. I know there are concerns about it but I can't find the thread where someone posted the actual temperature that an atomizer is.

I, too am new to the world of vaping, but an old hand at analogs - I use many of the same curtisies I would if smoking. If I come to someones home, I ask permission to vape as I would to smoke, but with that said I have tried a slightly different tactic at work and in public spaces: That is,

(1) I approached the manager at my local grocery store, showed him my VP and explained what it was and why I was using it. He Explained there should be no issue's and he thanked me for approaching him prior to just using it.

(2) At our favorite Mexican Resturant Thursday evening, I pulled the manager aside, showed my PV, explained what it was and they seated us where my vapor would be least likely noticed.

(3) I have been, with pride of becoming a non-smoker, happily shown my PV to my Boss, many co-worker's and staff, explaining to all what it was and it's use. The feedback has been fantastic, and although "Official Permission" to Vape in my office has not been given, it has been a non issue so far.

As stated above, a simple "Show and Tell" will work in many situations. My Pv being a Beast and looks nothing like an analog (Indulgence V3 with a Boge Cartomizer) which may make this easier is some form, appearing almost like a medical device. None of my conversations on my PV were longer then ten minutes, but they created a comfort zone for others. Most were interested to learn more, and I happily dirrect them here to the ECF, plus offered what little info I could with confidence.
You'll be amazed to discover just how many are either wanting to quit analog's, or whom have and know of it's difficulty,

I guess, "When In Rome, Do As The Roman's" is the line to start, and move forward with caution, tempered by probable understanding by others.

Honestly, I've come to the point where I just don't care if people don't like it. They don't actually cough because it's killing their lungs, it's mostly out of stupidity and habit. If someone kindly asks me to stop using my pv in their store i'll be glad to do it, but if there is any attitude with that request I'm not bothering with them. It's something everyone has/will have to get used to.

...The vapor comes from our bodies and not the juice. PG and more so VG "traps" the moisture from our mouth, throat and lungs thus the vapor. ..... Dehydration among vapers is a common problem and if not addressed can lead to issues and a lessening of the vaping experience....

Thanks... I need to look into this more. This may be why I have been feeling a little off...
