We've had a couple requests....

So, here we are... A few weeks ago we snuck off to New Orleans for Memorial Day weekend and I took this photo at a little place called The Beach.

She's the good looking one BTW...I was holding my mouth kinda funny trying to get a good picture with my phone, LOL.

To be honest, I have passed on buying from vendors just based on their avatar pics. Whether it be because they look too young, or like Cosmo Kramer from Seinfield.

how was the beach? I've been glued to CNN because of the oil spill. I wish I could get down there myself to see what is going on. I feel so bad for those folks down there.

I love New Orleans........ best food and fun people. Did you get any of there famous oysters and shrimp gumbo?

The Beach was fun...lively crowd and massive 64 oz drinks LOL

There wasn't much talk of the oil spill around the tourist areas except for when you tried to order a shrimp dish...especially boiled shrimp. We did eat some damn good food and I tried crawfish for the first time. A lot of work, but pretty tasty.

We will definitely go back for sure...10 times more fun than Vegas for me.

The crawfish is really good. To me it taste like shrimp and crab rolled into one. I know some say it taste like a mini lobster but it has more of a shrimp taste I think.

Yea I love shrimp and oysters and its a shame that the business in the gulf is being hurt by the oil spill. Oh if you love oysters then you may be sadden to hear that Red Lobster may be taken the Oyster dinner off their menu due to them getting most of the oysters from the gulf.

I'm glad to hear that the tourism hasn't really slowed down and I hope it stays that way. New Orleans is just a fun place with a great atmosphere full of laughs.
