ok im a bit thrown, i've been reading about the sweet spot being 7-8 watts i use aspire 1.8ohm bvc coils in a nautilaus mini and an et-s so in theory i should be running my battery around 3.8v (3.8x3.8/1.8=8.0)
yet im finding the amount of vapor and flavour a bit weak, so two questions,
does an extra couple of watts really do that much harm to the coils and battery? (ive been finding myself running 4.3v=10.2w)
and
is there something else i am missing to get both better vape and better flavour
(ive read more vg can mean more vape but less flavour, more pg = move flavour less cloud)

Cowboy... what are you like? :)

The sweet spot is where you enjoy it. If someone's been vaping an E-Lites, they might think 6 watts is heaven.

I pretty much vape at 8-9 watts most of the time, but NOT with a BVC coil... no way dude!!

Max on the MVP. (11w, supposedly, but we know it's not quite true)
12w or so on the Vamo. (Vamo is slightly under, really)
9w on the iStick. (iStick is a bit hot, for a few reasons).

So much depends on the device, the atomizer, the real power output and stuff like that.

What battery/mod are you using for it?

Shouldn't do any harm to the battery, will shorten battery life between charges. Will cause the coils to burn out a little faster.

The statements about vg/pg are generalizations. VG is in and of itself not less flavorful it is just so dense that it takes longer for the flavor to emulsify throughout the liquid. Vg will definitely produce more vapor. VG is more difficult to use in a tank because it is so thick it doesn't wick as well. This can be solved with several drops of distilled water per tank.

As far as what you can do? Tough to say. You are using one of the favorite tanks on the market right now. If you have BVC coils you are at about the summit as far as plug and play tanks go. You might look at some different juices? Not sure what you are currently vaping? or what nic level? I find lower nicotine levels to have better overall flavor but that is just me. Anything beyond 12 just comes across really peppery. Yet when I am stressed I go straight for the 18 to get a nic buzz.
