What am I doing wrong, 32 kanthal, 400 mesh AGI Genesis Mode, not wicking

I just got in a AGI. I rolled up a 400 SS wick around a paper clip put it in the hole wrapped a 3/4 coil came out to 2.5Ω. I'm using 50/50 MBV Ecto Cooler. The coil is working fine but I'm not getting any wicking even if I hold the PV upside, 45º it dosnt matter. Even left it on its side overnight with cap off and no leaks lol I'm getting frusterated. What mesh are you guys using for 50/50 or what am I doing wrong?

(BTW, I've built SS wicks for vivi nova's before, not the U but just a T wick and everything works fine but I'm constantly tipping to wet the coil, this is my first genesis style vertical wick)

I tried taking the fill screw out. With it all the way out it wicks pretty good. If it's in it won't wick for anything

You have to keep the fill screw out. It helps with the displacement of air in the tank. You want juice to come out, but you have to replace it with air. Only place the air can come from is the fill hole.

I have an AGA T2 btw and it dry hits if I inhale for more than 3 seconds. Then I curse the vaping gods for getting me stuck on these...

Yeah you will always have to leave the screw out. As for your other problem, are you doing the "genesis tilt"? You will have to do a tilt to help the wicking along. Usually around 2 o'clock will do the trick. How are you rolling your wick? Is it like a straw, with a passage through the middle?

On a genny that is having a hard time wicking i generally will cut a quarter inch into the bottom of the wick and fan it. Works like a charm. Just be careful not to cut too far up the wick or you risk the chance of flooding when you tilt. Thats been my way around underwicking on my aga2s (if you dont feel like leaving the fill screw out that is)

If u want your filler to be closed, u have to make your mesh size smaller than then wick hole. There will be space for pressure equalization
