Ok...bought an IGO-L...which I'm really loving by the way. But I've been wanting to make it dual coil. Opened up the stock airhole to 1/16" and drilled another right where the 2nd coil would go. Now even with a single coil, with all the airflow I pulling clouds! But...when I try to put a double coil on it, the sigelei keeps saying low load! I've wrapped with a single piece of kanthal...made two individual coils ..but no matter what I do, it keeps flashing low load! I know I've seen people do this on youtube...but when i try it, no soap. I'm using 3mm silica and 32 guage kanthal.

For two coils of the same resistance in parallel, the resistance is R/2 i.e. two 1.4Ω coils in parallel = 0.7Ω. That would be fine if you were using a mechanical mod, but won't work on today's regulated mods. To stay above 1.4Ω with two parallel coils, each needs to be greater than 2.8Ω.

As an analogy, with two parallel coils, you're turning a two-lane highway into a 4-lane.
