Try refilling not using the condom method, like dripping down the sides or using a syringe. You could be getting juice into the tube in the middle of the carto, which could make the draw hard and/or splatter up into your mouth, which could cause a burning sensation in your mouth. If you insist on using the condom method, try gently blowing it out into a paper towel before you use it to expel the excess juice in the tube.

The reason I asked about the ratio is that a higher VG proportion will often give a harder draw and cartos won't last as long. Both of your products are from reputable suppliers.

I agree with El-ahrairah. I drip down the inside wall at an angle myself, turning ans I go, a few drops at a time, and then do a "thermometer shake" every few drops. Works very well for me. Others use syringes very successfully. I think you'll find that the condom method is messier, wastes juice, and leads to faster gunking-up of the threads on your battery.

There's also something called a "Taryn Spin", named after an ECFer where the carto is attached or in something like a lanyard, and you sping it around, and the centrifugal force makes the liquid go deeper into the carto filling. I tried to find a link but couldn't. It's also more work than I'm willing to do!

I use a syringe and have never had any problems except for over filling them on occasion. I'll get it 98% full with the syringe and then add a few more drops until it starts to leak, blow it out, let it sit for a minute and it's good to go. It does waste a little bit of liquid doing it that way, but it's not enough to worry about IMO.

Something noone mentioned here....when I do it I let them sit after doing the drop methed.....sit about half hour then top off again.....takes a bit for the juice to really fill in the cart it seems. Hope this helps good luck. :)

Me too John and I find it works well. I found that I got the burnie sensation if I didn't fill the cartomizer enough. It's taken me a couple of weeks to work it out and a little reading of how others do it. At the end of the day I have found the drip method wastes less and by letting them sit and then topping up, there's plenty in the carto so avoiding the burnies. I have mixed juices too (different flavours) in the cartomizers 4 drops of one then 5 or 6 of another and by leaving them sit for a while, the juices mix nicely giving me a nice combination of flavours.

If its tough to draw and juice in your mouth on you probably got juice into the center tubing. As they mentioned above blow it out and vape again. On a new carto you can easily get 20-30 drops in just by dripping down the side turning the carto and dripping some more. I usually drip 5 drops slight turn drip 5 more, turn again to make sure all the filler is wet until i get to almost 30 drops. I agree with the person who said to let it sit and soak in too. You will do best with juices that are 80/20 PG/VG based for these cartomizers.

I get good results with the condom method. First I boil the carts, blow them out, and let them dry. Then find a toothpick that fits snug into the center tube. This prevents juice from flooding the atty as the cart is filled. Then wipe off the cart and blow out any excess juice (usually very little or none) This is a quick way to fill large batches.
