Okay story goes like this bought a njoy 2n1 love the concept, pre filled carts taste Hm okay "shrugs", batt life I hate... burnt tasting carts after awhile ICKKYY. Found this forum read for three days,, probably 6 hours of you tube... decided to get an joye ego with 510 .... got it today preped it and voile no taste, vapors good, Im using good juice as per reviews of several peeps. Are my taste buds that shot? altho freinds say my nose is better than them that do not smoke.. grrrrrrrrrrrrr.. I have resorted to trying to re fill crappy 2n1 cartz oh what a joy those are to refill. Glued in little suckers!!!! and I can taste flavor in those... now what???? oh and Im drinking my h2o as well.. Help! suggestions???? Thanks in advance!! GOD IM A NOOOB.. lol

Hmmm... what juice did you get?

I'm wondering if, given your location, the juice may have been affected by the heat during shipping. This has never happened to me, but I have read about it happening to others.

Another possibility: Does the juice you got contain a lot of VG (vegetable glycerin)? It will probably say on the label. I find that juices with a lot of VG totally kills the flavor for me. Maybe it's the same for you.

wet your stick and as I live in phx I was carefull not to let it stew in the heat of the mail box for more than about 2 hrs max.. also im using that to refill other njoy carts and i can sort of taste em over the old prefilled flavor

Unfortunately I mostly use cartomizers, so my atomizer knowledge is slightly limited. 510/eGo experts, where ya at?

i've had a couple of my 3ml bottles get to hot and ruin the flavor in them so that could very well be the problem, but another thing i was thinking last time i had an inexplicable bad tasting vape i thought that maybe it could be my taste buds getting better. when you stop smoking your taste buds get better so when you start out something might taste good or bad but after your buds start to heal and go back to the way they once were those flavors might change. im not entirely sure if i understand your situation but there are some of my explanations, hope that helps

wow fingers are not typing well today lol for and to my yes im about 48hrs out of analogs but why would i taste the flavor thru the njoy but not the ego??? that is the question???

Try this:

Take off the cart and look in the atomizer. You see that bridge-shaped mesh in there? Try putting a drop or two of juice directly on that.

Now, take a drag like that. Don't put the cart back on, but be careful - the atomizer can get hot.

Can you taste it that way?

Try dripping 1 drop in the atty and put the cart back on it might just be too dry and make sure your batts are all the way charged up either one could be the problem.

Did you blow off or burn off the new atomizer? They are shiped with an oil based to protect them and that can kill the flavor.

Ive got the batt on the charger just to make sure the lite went green about 30min in but i have left it on there not really knowing,, it says 2 hrs to charge!

Ive also tried dripping some on with the attythen put in empty cart that came with it "shrugs not much of anything LOL

okay, it might be that one you taste is heating a bit warmer than the other one so, maybe you just need to stick to that PV. I mean if that works for you, then you can sell or trade the one that doesn't work for you.

okay I pulled off battery off charger and switched to orange flavor it seems to be helping all tho side effect is I think I may have vapped to much nicotine now. wow what a buzz I got now, heheee. maybe the atty wasnt clean enough its not as strong as I thought It would be but atleast im getting some flavor or maybe its cause im buzzed Thank you all for trying to help.. As to going back to njoy hmmph I think I will keep trying to get the 510ego working for me. I really do not like being tied to the charger and 5 cartomizers for 20 bucks is not a savings for me. I think I may definitley may be a chain vaper Im sure my "noobieness" will have more posts in the comming weeks Thank you all again.

Try putting the juice in the fridge for 30 minutes. Shake it well then another 30 in the fridge. While that is going, clean out the cart. Rinse the filler, rinse the cart. Dry both, Blow out the atty really good, I blow first from the battery end, wipe well then blow from the cart end, make sure to dry the threaded end well.

When your juice is done cooling, shake it well and warm it up with your hands a bit. Put 3 drops on the atty bridge, put the cart tip without filler on and try to vape that. Only use small puffs, like you were hot boxing an analog. If you are getting a bunch of vapor you should also be getting flavor. If still no flavor it is probably just your taste buds. Try drinking something different. I noticed that my juice flavors change with my beverages.

Next step would be to refill the cart, 2/3 full, put in filler (slowly or it will over flow), put a couple more drops on filler un till it looks like a slushy, a couple drops to atty, put it all together and vape.

That is how I fill my eGo. Juices should be stored cool and I have found that if you get them out of the mailbox and they have been warm you really have to cool them off.
