inferno is not much different from ego, its basically the same. I have 4 of them for my back up in case my 2 of my vv box mods die and I do not have time to fix it. If I were you I'd try different brand cartos. I do not have info on them cuz I drip but I do know there is loads of info on cartos here somewhere. As long is it has a 510 connection, it will work. Also, if the batt don't work, you should be able to replace it free. I had mine replaced. They got a 1 year warranty on batt.

TY that helps, I think I like the tank better though. I have the Volcano Inferno, not thrilled with it one batt does not work and they sent me the wrong carts and my bottle of juice leaked all over. I might order me a go go or e-go.

Sheesh. You could write a country song. The Vaping Blues. Hope all is better soon. Hang in there and don't let your dog outside today.

On the topic of heat and drip tips ... My drip tip is made of delrin and it doesn't transfer any heat. Some drip tips are made of metal and these might conduct heat and get warm. I'm not sure about that, though, because the mass of the drip tip metal would be much greater than the body of the ato/cartomizer and should sort of absorb the heat. Thoughts from metal drip tip users?

I bought some 306 drip tips that get VERY hot and they are delrin as well, but I later purchased larger ones both to increase the distance from the element, and increase the mass of the tip and problem was solved. So delrin does transfer heat, but not as well as aluminum. That being said I think design and size are more important than material from the 8 or so types of drip tips I have. edit: as a side note I hate 6 of the 8 tips I have I like IKV's cannon 306 and the shorty 510s I got from madvapes. Problems range from the hole being too small and trapping juice if I don't tilt it and drip down the side to getting hot
