What am I doing wrong??

Need some advice.Today I just recieved an order of wow cowboy juice and wow chocolate juice. Also in that order was 2 packs of blank wow carts. I put my juice in. Took off white cap. held cart around 45 degrees. slowly spinnig the cart with fingers i started dripping. counted 15 then stopped. let the filled carts set 5 minutes or so.Then i started vapeing within 3 puffs the cart was so hot it burnt my lips litterly. Then the cart was burnt nearly smoking bunrt. Thought it was bad cart so i grab one oout of other pack same thing I wasted 3 carts total before going to get one of my used carts it is doing fine. Have i Done someting wrong?

The problem with measuring in drops is it's not an exact figure. Some people have claimed to get 50 drops into a carto, know I can only get 6 max. Wow cartos hold between 0.8-1ml of juice, which without a syringe makes it that much harder to know if you've actually filled it. Using the taryn spin method will help with that since you're dripping. Keep in mind wow cartos because of their lower ohms burn faster than cool carts (cool carts pull 5.3 watts of power on a freshly charged batt on average, where wow's pull 7.6 watts on avg under the same conditions). The videos should be able to help, if not let us know sir.

Don't feel bad. The first time I filled, the same thing happened. I'd suggest watching all of Snowdragoons videos, especially when starting out. Helped me a ton.

Everyone's experience is different, but I do find that the first fill on a carto lasts me about 3-4 puffs before I start tasting burnt carto. It seems like I have to 'prime' them before they get going. Usually I do 12 drops, spin, 12 drops, puff away. After those initial 3-4 puffs, I refill about 10 drops and I'm set. Don't ask why this process is necessary, because as far as I know, it's limited to me. I've never heard anyone having the same experience.

I drop the liquid until I see its all wet on top (you will learn the difference of dry and wet) Taryn spin then repeat until the cart does not look dry anymore after Taryn spinning. It looks slushy on top is the closest discription I have heard. If it looks like dry cotton after spinning add more with the 45 degree and driping while turning.

I let em sit for a while to absorb after filling.

I think 15 drops was too low and thats the issue.

It varies but in my experience I drop 7-10 then Taryn spin then drop 7-10 then Tyrin spin again. Then drop whats needed after that to make it wet on top of the filler material. I do this until it will not take any more and lose count of total drops. For me its all about how the filler looks after spinning.

I Taryn spin with a medium perscription bottle with a string poked through. It fits 5 carts.

Thank you Morandir835 sir. I watched the videos. made a taryn spinner out of a childs medicen spoon It has the proper wieght and the tube is just the right diameter. Did that 4 times at 10 drops each. First few drags was like trying to get water melon through garden hose. So With all this would you agree that I did not have engough juice causeing premature failure. Now I am vapeing to the point I had to stop to see the screen . Again Thank you very much.

you could just put the cartos in battery bags attach them to a ceiling fan, set fan on high and spin is complete

All great advice and I'll add my own little trick. Since I've been vaping for awhile but only re-filling a lot for a few months, I try to fill a few carts for the next day before sleep. Then in the morning, top them off and you are good to go. They really do, imho, vape better with a little 'aging',
( just like humans )

This is exactly how I fill new blanks. I use CoolCarts 99.9% of the time, and I'll average 30 drops in a CC.

I taryn spin with a V4L velvet battery bag. Take a bag, pull the seams together and cut a slice in the front or back, right at the height that's easy to grab a carto from. Presto. Best spinner ever.

Drop size is never an even number across the board. We all squeeze that bottle just a bit differently. =)

Snow and others will disagree with me here, but for your first fill on a new carto, I would condom fill from the battery end. Be sure to wipe it down thoroughly and then let it sit for oh 20 minutes or so just to make sure it isn't going to leak on you.

After that, you can vape for a few hours and then top off. I only use the condom for the first fill.

A lot of what you are experiencing may be just newb learning curve issues. I had those at first but I'm regularly refilling 10-15 (some for the wife) cartos per night using the top off method and filling the new ones via the condom method. Snow and others will say I'm wasting a small amount of juice and that is probably true but I waste just as much when I try to syringe them.

I tried the condom method once from another vid but not from battery end ,from vaping end .It works but a bit messier .

I know SnowDragon will estrange me from the fam for this, but after months of dripping and spinning, I just HAD to try the condom method and uh well uh it worked perfectly for me.
