What am I doing wrong...

I am using dual coils and filling these are a pain for me.. I open a new pack remove the mouth pieceand pumped maybe about .8mls in there and it tastes a lill burnt and very warm...

Am I not doing this right? My carto is a standard size one.. Please help

I had to overfill mine to get rid of the initial burning taste. It's my first time using them. I've gotten somewhat spoiled by clearomizers as I can always tell what my juice level is, but I wanted to try the tank.

Have patience.

I fill up my cartos and let them sit first for a couple of hours at least. Then top them off and use.

After filling the carto, let it sit, thread end down, for a half hour before trying to vape on it. Another method would be to try the bottom-fill method using the condom. Just put a mil of juice in the condom, and slowly push the threaded end down in to the juice, letting it flow upward into the carto. Again, let it set a while before using. Don't use high voltages or vape long on it until you know the juice is there and wicking.

Sometimes I fill with a syringe initially, then drip some more in there. I keep going until it leaks out the bottom a little bit. Let it sit for a bit, then it should be good to go. I had one carto that tasted burnt no matter how much juice I put in there. I cut my losses, and tossed it...

Sounds like you did not get juice down to the bottom of the carto and the bottom coil just was burning the filler...

When I first started filling cartos a followed a trick I saw Grimm Green do on one of his vids. Drip a few drops while rotating the carto then grab the mouth piece end with your fingers then flick it a few times like an old mercury thermometer. The juice is forced down into the bottom of filler and carto. A quick visual inspection you will see that the juice is know longer at the top. Rinse wash and repeat until the top of the batting is slightly slushy looking.

Luer lock syringe works well especially with thicker VG juices....
