Hi from Indiana! I have a FUMA with carto's, and I have e-liquid. I have watched hundreds of videos on how to refill the cartos, read thread after thread in here and other places. At first, I was not sure how many drops I needed, so I put around 5, then added more when seemed to lack flavor, but then went from bad to worse.

I open them up, drop the liquid onto the wicking, replace caps and the cartos are like sucking a golf ball through a garden hose.

So, after watching a video on how to replace the wicking, I tried that also, to no avail. I am to the point I am just going to drop the drops under my tongue. lol

TYIA for any help.

Huh...their website is not at all helpful and from googling around, it would appear you did what almost everyone on ECF did - bought a low-quality, overpriced PV. :) You're not alone in that!
...::: FUMA International LLC :::...

Can't answer your question directly because I can't find much useful info on these online. But chances are, you're not doing anything wrong, you just need a better set-up. Some of the cartos may be bad, you may be using very thick juice, the juice itself might not be good....when I started I tried some awful juices from a local smoke shop and had I not discovered better options through this forum, I'd still be smoking...

Congrats on making the first step and ending up here! Hopefully someone will be able to address your questions more directly.

PS: Have you contacted the vendor you bought it from and asked for help?

What cartos are you using, and is there a tank involved?

When i started out vapeing i was using the MADVAPES tank and cartomizers and would only get about 2 days worth vape time on them. I am a huge cartomizer fan with little enjoyment on the dripping side. I have found that smoktech makes an unbelievably long lasting carto that does not have a stiff draw at all on it. I get them on madvapes, they hold about 30 drops and seem to last me weeks on end. In fact i normally dispose after two weeks just to get a new flavor going. Oh and on madvapes you get a price break the more you buy.

If you're only putting 5 drops in, it sounds like you're not putting in enough. I don't know anything about your system, so I can't say for sure. I use a ego with 510 carts, and even the super short cartomizers take at least 20 drops. If you have let the carts run dry, you may have also collapsed the air tube running through the center of the cart which causes the "golf ball through garden hose" effect.

I concur that 5 drops is woefully inadequate.

The capacity of cartos varies quite a bit, and I solve any uncertainty by just dripping, dripping, dripping until the liquid begins to leak out the connector end.

Very important: After filling, set the carto aside for 30 minutes or so; even though it's "full," it takes time for the liquid to saturate fully.

Hey! I started with a fuma. It's okay, but I'll tell you, you might as well go ahead and upgrade to something else.

The fuma uses a threading that not many other e-cigs use, so you are really limited for choice of cartos. One of the few places I found that carried compatible cartomizers is azsmoke free. They are kr808d-2 threaded. KR808D-2 Cartomizers

I'd recommend you just go ahead and upgrade to some sort of 510 threaded e-cig. You will then be able to use a wide variety of juice delivery systems, and you'll have many different brands and types of cartos to choose from. Your batteries will last longer.

Speaking from experience here, just go ahead and upgrade instead of trying to troubleshoot the Fuma. Trying to continue with the Fuma will only cost you more in the long run.

ETA: I also agree with the previous posters that you need to use more liquid when you are topping them off. Keep dropping until they look a little slushy on top. Be sure to blow them out well since (iirc) the Fuma is an auto battery. You don't want to get any juice into the battery.

Tj has a good point above as well. I'd forgotten about the air flow problems I had with the Fuma. I think variations in the cartos, along with a not very well designed air flow system, made it necessary to sometimes loosen the cartos to get a decent drag. Still, I'd suggest upgrading for a more reliable, less troublesome experience.

Thank you all so much, I am going to add more drops and wait and see what happens.

I agree, this is a flimsy set up, the battery itself is okay, the carts are okay, but buying new ones at 15.00 for 5 every 2-3 days is as almost expensive as smoking was for me.

Today is 1 week of analog free for me and my hubby! Thank you all again, I greatly appreciate the help. :))

Also, I have put in an order for an upgrade for both of us for a 510 battery and clearomizers, drip tips and all from AZ Smokefree. Hopefully, they have super fast shipping.

That's another reason to take Spazmelda's advice about upgrading and putting the FUMA ripoff artists in your rear view mirror: very good 510 cartos (Boge, Ikenvape, etc.) go for more in the $8.00 neighborhood for a 5-pack, will almost certainly outperform the ones you're using and last longer. I typically get a good week out of a single Boge or IKV.

Oh dear, I only meant azsmokefree as a recommendation for the kr808d-2 cartomizers. They are hard to find. I have no idea about any of the other products they carry, and you'd probably be able to get better deals and batteries elsewhere. Anyway, hopefully it will turn out okay! As I recall, their shipping was fine and I never had any problems with them, but just not sure about the quality of their other products compared to other sources. They did have good customer service when I had a problem though.

+1 on the boges. You can really find some good deals on them if you shop around. My last 50 pack I got for $38 including shipping. That was a co-op price, but apparently a shop called surevapes has an excellent deal going (5 boxes of 5 for $23, free shipping).

I ordered (from AZ) some of the cartos and a 510 passthrough, some blank cartos for the 510, a 510 atomizer, a 901 PCC kit for my husband to use at work, an extra 901 battery for the PCC kit, some drip tips for both and some e juice. I am trying to do this as cheap as possible at the moment. Their shipping charge was around 5 bucks, so not too bad.

No tank on these, they are just regular carto's. I am wondering if they are old because the smoke shop that I got them from have had these same FUMA's for a few years now and the sales lady said that they do not sell at all. They were of no help when I went to ask questions about the size of the batteries, which is how I ended up here.
