Whenever I try to clean a cartomizer, it just never produces vapor again.. What i do is put them in some boiled water and let then soak a bit.. Then run hot tap water through them. My next step is blowing out the excess water and placing then in a sock and putting them in the Dryer for 10-15 mins.. But then they just never vape again lol.. Is it possible maybe they just are too wet at the bottom still? If someone could give me some advice, it would be greatly appreciated B-)

I've used the method in this video and it works for me:

I don't speed up the drying process - I just leave them to sit for 3-4 days until dry. I first tried as an experiment, and now every so often I take a bunch of used cartos and clean them.

If you decide to follow this video I would recommend not to use normal tap or even spring water. Use distilled water when doing this or it can sometimes leave a white chalky residue on them that has been know to clog coils quicker, depending on how clean your water is and where you live. I would just play it safe and use distilled.

I soak all of my juice compartments in vodka or isopropyl alcohol overnight and then let dry over a heater for another night or until completely dry with no smell of alcohol on it what so ever before I actually use them again. When using this method make sure you seal the container because alcohol evaporates A LOT quicker than water. Alcohol, sealed container, let sit 15min... Shake, let sit.... Shake and let sit over night. If you want them even cleaner, repeat this until desired cleanliness is reached... Just make sure to let completely dry before using them.

In the past when I was using cartos I used the oven method to dry them as somebody else mentioned above (blowing out excess water like in the video prior to putting them on a cookie or pizza pan). The only thing I do slightly different than the post above that mentions the oven is I saw on another forum where the person giving the advice recommended 200 degrees for an hour and then I usually added an extra 15 minutes to that to be 100% safe. The main thing is regardless of the temps and times you get the same desired results in a timely manner. The person who suggested distilled water has a point. I'd read that somewhere and ignored it and my cartos got a thin white residue on them from the minerals in the tap water.

I've done this quite a few times and there really is no issue. I've never seen a "white chalky residue". Distilled water won't give any extra advantage when boiling cartomizers - at least not where I am.
