Yeah, it could be a fluke. I've got the cappuccino carto back on again, and it's just not performing consistently --and this is with a fresh-off-the-charger battery. I just have no way of knowing if it's a bad battery or a bad carto, or if it's just that this flavor is on the milder side. I'm getting plenty of vapor --just inconsistent throat hit. Sometimes very strong, sometimes nonexistent.

I get a pretty mild throat hit with the capuccino 16. It is pretty good at 24. The lower nics (6, 8, and 11) give great flavor, but little to no throat hit. I use those at night. 16 gives good flavor and a soft throat hit. 24 in all flavors give a great throat hit. I actually prefer the 24s, but trying to cut the nic level. If I was still wanting cigs I would definately stick with 24 because those are the ones that satisfy me most.

Hope you can get this figured out. I am getting better throat hits with the manual battery extra long - that thing is awesome! And you have to get that passthrough going! ;)

did u try lowering your your suction as you draw in the lightest longest inhail seeems to work best? If you hold your hand up in front of it while u inhail try inahiling until the light shuts off but the softer the inhail the bigger the throat hit

Good tip, with the autos. Amazing how that works isn't it? You would think giving a hard hit would work better but it doesn't. Definately a learning curve.

Okay, I watched closely tonight with both of my batteries. The one battery did give the confirmation blinks when it screwed in and charged up fine. The other battery I just went to charge now. It is almost totally dead. No confirmation blinks at all, and in fact it showed as fully charged when I screwed it in. Kept doing that until I unplugged the charger. When I plugged it back in, no confirmation blinks, but this time at least it showed the red light instead of the green, so it is registering as needing a charge. Does the lack of confirmation blinks mean it won't charge properly now?

No...I have fully drained my battery to the point it doesn't blink when I put it in the charger. It will still charge correctly. I will take it out of the charger after 10 minutes, then put it back in and it will then blink. About the USB charger....it will work with any USB port on any computer no matter how old the computer is. The standard minimum current that was specified for USB ports was 500ma's when they first came out.

Yep, that's what I have --the 16. It's pretty inconsistent, and yes, rather mild.

I would step up to the 24s then if 16 is inconsistent for you in that flavor. I no longer have the urge for a cig, so the 16 is working fine. If I was still fighting the urge to smoke I would definately be sticking with the 24.

I have a wall charger/USB adapter and it works fine for the charger, but not strong enough for the passthrough. I ordered the one you posted and I can't wait to get it! ;)

Okay, I am a techno idiot, so I'm not following you. lol. I have a charger that I plug into an electrical socket and then I screw a battery in. The passthrough is just supposed to plug into my USB socket in my computer, right? :)

They usually provide a USB charger as well, which i hate to admit, does a superior job cause it's cutoff is later than the AC charger (so is the carry case incidently)...you were using the AC charger (plugs in wall) so this part didnt apply..hope that explains why I asked however.

Okay, I am now COMPLETELY confused. Ack! lol. I am going to try to understand exactly what I have here. I have the PCC. It plugs into a USB port. I won't use it in my USB port because I doubt it will charge. HOWEVER, it looks like it came with a car adaptor, so that means I can charge the PCC in my car using the adaptor, right?

You can in fact charge your PCC in your car if you have the cigarette lighter adaptor thingie that the PCC will plug into.

I have the passthrough, which I already know I can't use (although my husband will be going out tomorrow to see if he can find something that will work). Now, I have this other thing, and I can't quite figure out what it is or what to use it for. It plugs into a USB port, but on the other end is a large hole. What is it and what do I use it for? The battery won't screw in there, so I'm kind of stumped.
that thing with USB on one end and a pinkie sized or slightly smaller hole on other end is a USB battery charger..in your case will work in the car adaptor thingie probably, but since your USB doesnt provide enough for a passthrough, it'll charge, but slowly..a battery. they charge pretty quick on my computer when im forced to use it cause the wife is hogging my USB wall adaptor thingie lol.

Your AC charger (cord plugs in wall) is the best simplest battery charger. When you screw in a battery, the battery itself will blink several times and the little green light on the charger will swap to red (indicating charging) and back to green after a few hours (indicating all done!)

I see i need to make some more videos..thats fine, i love making videos! yay!

it typically means the protection circuit is a bit confused..rare indeed do you not get the blinks...however let it charge till doomsday and see how it works...it's possible that it got a little more discharged than it should have. Those protection circuits are made in china. to err is human, and china has more humans than anyone LOL. I Had a bad battery once, Steve replaced it, that ended my battery issues.

That one threw me. I'm stumped..and I don't say that lightly. Almost has to be inconsistant draw technique..but without sitting and watching you use it, i have no idea. I've never had a cartomizer produce good vapor without being reliable in all the other fields...hrmph.

Wow, thanks for all the replies and help guys! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it! :) Kcocmp, I'm amazed at the amount of knowledge you have of these things. Kudos!

This is the only cartomizer that I'm having trouble with. Once I changed the battery, the coffee one worked fine, and the vanilla one that I used the first day I got this I had zero problems with at all. But, it's really not that big of a deal if it's just a bad carto. I was just concerned because I'm too new at these things to be able to pinpoint the source of a problem.

Today, though, I'm going to attempt to refill a carto. I'm very nervous, and I'm not sure what tool I should use to do it, but I'm going to give it a shot. I have watched the videos on it, and they are VERY helpful. :)

Did you see my post in KCs video thread? I use a hooked dental pick which you should be able to grab at any drugstore.

Nice! I'll definitely try that!

Yeah it *has* to be better than my broken-couch-arm-cover-pointy-shiny-thingie... which was the first thing i grabbed when i looked at the problem and the available "broken-pointy-thingies" i had to choose from in 4 minutes or less lol. Someone else suggested a wire from a paper pincher thingie..but i forget what theyre called, its like a clip board without the board, black, chrome wire handle thingies that fold flat or you can squeeze them together to un-bite the papers you bit with them...oh well.
