What am I gaining if I upgrade my battery?

Assuming it's the same model, moving from 650 to 900 or even higher would gain you vaping time before a recharge is required. I tend to use a 900 or 1,300 model depending on my mood, which in my case gives me up to about 12 hours of vape time (I'm a heavy vaper).

Additionally, the larger models, needing recharging less often, will tend to last longer. Lithium batteries only have so many recharges during their lifespan, so if you fully drain your 650 it'll happen faster than a fully drained 900. That extends their life.

Plus if you get your 900 back on the charger before it fully discharges, it extends the lifespan even further. Partial charges on lithium batteries don't subtract even the percentage of full charge you gave them. I remember reading that if you discharge a lithium battery halfway you'll get MORE than three times as many charges as if you used it fully. That's more than half again the lifespan and power.

However, if you're happy with your 650 the only thing I'd suggest is having a backup just in case it dies...

Wow...looks like I need to do some research. Thanks.

that's what I thought, didnt know if would also produce more vapor since its got more power.

Nope, the amout of power that it sends to the atty per vape stays the same from the first vape until the last. Only how long you can use it changes.

Wow, I never thought about how it affects the total lifespan, being extended by the larger batts, Morpheus. :)

It really boils down to how much you vape. I have a 900mah eGo batt, and it never runs out on me during the day. I basically vape less than I smoked. Though i vape as often as i used to smoke (if that makes sense). So I was a PAD smoker, somehow sharing those 20 analogs over a 24 hr period. Now I vape whenever I get the urge but never quite more than 5-10mins at a time. That puts me at about 4hrs vaping per day.

A bigger batt as all have said will get you more time between charges and that in turn can extend your overall batt life, but all that is really just over analytical and subjective. How often do you vape? if you find yourself killing your batts, go bigger.

Im new as well but started with a ego 1000 and it is great last day and half. Well 2 days later i placed another order for a couple spinner's and im glad i did the vv is sweet. My wife said the ego's are good enough for her untill i put the same juice on her's and my spinner, then had her try both. She seen the vv made a better hit than her ego. So my 2cents is spend couple bucks more and get one of the vv batterys. Plus the spinners are 1300 mah.
