When talking about the eGo series we have to realize there are a number of knock-offs- some very good and others complete garbage. The rights to the eGo are owned by Janty and they cancelled the contract with manufacturer Joytech in Jan. 2012.
Janty, effective immediately, revokes the subcontractor agreement with Forever sourcing Inc/Joyetech
So are Joytech eGos now "knock-offs"?
I never really liked the Joytech eGo as they were always lacking in some way. Regular eGo fires @ 3.4 volts while the eGo class Kgo fires @ 3.7 volts. Kgo is an eGo knock-off but is produced by well known and highly regarded SLB. smoktek also sells a 3.7 volt eGo.
Twist...I own it and find the Spinner far superior and it's manufacturer, Vision, addresses all the shortcomings of the Twist.
Having said all this I have a convert that's been using the eGo-C with clearos for over 5 months and it still works fine.
