I made the mistake in the beginning of ordering a 6 month supply of everything and backups to my backups every step of the way. As you get used to vaping and new variations of e-cigs get invented, you are unlikely to make it through the 6 month supply of anything. A eliquid flavor you love today you may tire of after a few weeks. Cool new atomizers and PVs come out every few months.

My advice to save money is to only order enough to get through a month and one layer of back ups for equipment loss or malfunction. Most of the vendors on this site will get you new supplies in less than 4 days, so no need to panic stock. I have drawers full of blank Coolcarts from KR808 days and 4 ego-T 1000 batteries with 3 chargers and tank atomizers that are all collecting dust. I keep some for backup and have been slowly PIFing (giving away in PIF Treasure chest forum) or giving them to smokers to try. I wasted so much money on stuff I outgrew.

I've been contently into REOs for the past 3 months, so hopefully just purchasing eliquid and the latest and greatest atomizers will keep my expenses down. I no longer compare and rationalize it to smoking expenses in my head since those days are long gone.

Good luck on your vaping journey.

cigs & coffee are the worst possible things you could intake when having GERD & an ulcer. Didn't they tell you that when you left the hospital?

Welcome to ECF :) I sincerely wish you happy vaping!
im sure it contributed,lol
i had been on nexium for 4-5 years and most of the time felt pretty good so i wasnt taking them every day like i was supposed to. in fact i was only taking as i thought i needed, like a few times per month. lesson learned, now i just take em every day no matter how i feel.

also, if i want to be trying out all these flavors im getting is drip the best way? in that case id need a drip tip right? otherwise ill be filling a big tank and mixing juices is not good correct?

My personal favorite on an ego/riva battery is a low resistance 306 atomizer with drip tip. IMO they hit a little better than a LR boge cartomizer and dripping is more convenient, at least for me. Switching flavors this way it pretty painless. Though I do like Boge cartos, I enjoy the 306 more.

I wrestle with heartburn and acid reflux alot myself and have for years. Used to be so bad I couldn't sleep at nights. I've been vaping about 3 months now and have not touched a real smoke since I started. I find that my heartburn is much less severe now than it was. I usually only get heartburn now when I eat Marco's pizza, lol.
I don't know for sure why my heartburn has become less intense but if it does have something to do with the cigarettes ....im just gonna stick to vaping.

Congrats on deciding to switch. Like you I started with a ego-t system. Over the last 7 months I've moved in to other devices but I still use the ego battery to drip. I think the ego battery is the best purchase for a new entrant to Vaping. If the ego t works for you or the next purchase I would suggest a 510 or 306 low residence atty and boge cartomizers. They will work great on the ego battery and they will introduce you to a great variety of different Vaping experiences.

Good luck

Using E-cig's is a kind of progression to find out you need a big battery to last you as long a possible, so you work your way up to more power. Then you try different catomizers to find what works best for you and how long they last. How convenient they are to use and take with you. Then buy juices to see what you like and hate. Then once you get a mod/battery you like and a very few e-liquids you like and a couple of carto's you like, then you will start to save because you only order what you like and works for you. Then the last thing is to learn when the carto's quit performing like they should, then throw them and use a new one, or you will get frustrated with a nonperforming carto and not enjoying a good vape. I hope this helps.

In one sense, it's almost a shame that vaping is so much more pleasant than smoking, because it seems that a means to an end usually becomes the end in itself. I'm two weeks in on a bloog kit, and really enjoying the flavor/convenience/craving satisfaction.....haven't had a single analog since I started vaping. I've settled down into a pattern of relatively light vaping during the work-day, then chain-vaping at night.......but I'm also only using 16mg juice after smoking 2PAD. Rotating batteries hasn't been an issue, but higher capacity carts, tanks etc. would undeniably be more convenient.

Of course, after reading countless posts by folks who swear by one device or another, I've become curious about several of the flexible VV mods with an internal charger. I can live with the inconvenience of filling carts and swapping batteries, but if I'm missing out on a significantly enhanced experience, then springing for one of the more sophisticated devices would be worth it. Is it a fair assumption that vapers wouldn't rave so much about their expensive equipment, if it didn't live up to at least some of the associated marketing hype?

First of all congratulations on your quitting analogs. If 16mg juice works for you stay with it, if is not satisfying you, you might jump to 24mg juice. All I can tell you is with my own experience I have tried alot of different batteries and mods and My favorite set up is a VaporLuxe from AceofVapes. I like it because it is Variable voltage (has 4 different setting ), has a built in charger, indicator lights to show how much power is left in the battery, and you can use it like a Passthrough at your computer. It is a little expensive but you get everything you need in the one mod. They have a 10% discount for new customers and FREE shipping so that helps a little. One my VaporLuxe my favorite carto is a Dual Coil cartomizer, together the vapor is awesome, holds more juice than a standard carto, I use it at the lowest setting and makes the battery lasts longer, but it has 3 upvoltages that you can try out and see what you like the best. These DC carto's work well with a E-power set up also, mine is the Stainless Steel 14650 model, but it is not V.V. but works very well and costs less to buy. I hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the response. Funny you should mention the Vaporluxe, because I really like the form-factor of that particular mod. It looks like it would fit very comfortably in the hand. Is the colored part of the housing metal, or some type of plastic? I've been somewhat surprised that more manufacturers don't offer grippy coating and/or textured options for these products.....anything to make them a bit less prone to slipping out of your hand. When you use something habitually ever day, aesthetics and ergonomics are hugely important.

I think the painted part is a tough plastic, like a cell phone. The vaporluxe seems pretty rugged and is made to fit comfortably in you hand. You hold it by gripping it and have you pinky finger under it, and press the power button with your thumb so its completely surrounded by your hand, it feels very natural to hold it and would be hard to slip out of you hand. It is in my opinion that the Vaporluxe is prettier than the pictures shows it. Hope this helps, if not ask more questions.
