Have to say............I ordered a spinner myself. I really didn't need one and I have no real idea why I ordered it. It was available in chrome though which is what I wanted to order but is never there when I do.

It seems to me that unless you have an advanced PV (not sold through SI) that there isn't much point to the spinner. If I turn the voltage down on the T3, it isn't enough and if I turn it up; it just tastes burnt so I keep it in the range of the recommendations of SI for voltage and it works good but just as good as the X2.

I'm not unhappy with it, I have another battery to use, I got the chrome I wanted and it works......just don't have anything that it would work with at higher voltage.

actually it would be the same thing on a lava tube ...provari or evic etc.... a certain amount of ohms will always work best with a certain voltage period. The only perks above the spinner that such mods have..are ...

1) a removable battery
2) some extra features...like being able to read the ohms of the carto/clearo/atty ...and alert you to battery life...etc
3) some have more battery life then the 1300

Otherwise a T-3 at 2.4-2.6 ohms would be best on a lavatube at 3.8 -4.2 volts as well...the same as the spinner...

These are really for those who like to tune in but tenths of ohms to their ideal for certain flavors. basically finding if they like their apple breeze at 3.8 or 4.0 or 4.2volts.

no it makes perfect sense .... some people may be thinking they will buy the spinner because it has this hype....and find out that there are only subtle differences it may not have been worth it...its good to hear all sides..

to some the differences change their whole experience...just like flavors it is all relative.

I hope that didn't come off wrong and I have only had it for 24 hours. I should mess with it more

I find that most of my liquids taste better to me at a lower voltage. If a flavor tastes better at a higher voltage I use the stick batts or X2s. So far I haven't found any that taste better to me at a voltage higher than the 3.7 range or slightly higher. Every one I try higher than that tastes harsh or burnt. I'm not sure if it's the particular liquids I vape or if it's just me. But whichever the reason, I love the Spinner.

I also have some CE3s and Nanos that have a slight burnt taste, but dialing down the voltage makes that go away. Having regular batts and VV, plus a variety of delivery systems, gives you so many options for getting the best taste possible from liquids.

I am going to retract my earlier statement here about not seeing the point.................

I have had my spinner here for just under a week and I keep going back to it. I haven't tried all of my flavors but there have been some that were pretty good, that I previously didn't think was that great at a different setting. The T3/Spinner combo is pretty good too. Almost to the point where I don't want to use it without the Spinner on it. I commonly will start off somewhere in the middle and dial it up or down a volt until I find the right spot and there is sometimes a change when the juice gets low.....lower the voltage and it works just fine.

p.s. went to Atlantic City this past weekend an was carrying the chrome spinner on the T3.......LOTS of questions!

I can relate to your change in opinion. For me, I didn't care for the T3's performance on the X2 and put them away. After SI started carrying the spinner, I decided to try the T3 again. Boy did that change my mind! Great combination. Now can't wait for SI's mini T3's because they have a smaller capacity but perform the same as their big brother. :)

Personally, I already have 2 - x2's and 6 - 65/78's in my arsenal. I have to wait till a few of the smaller batterys die before I can see the point of getting another upgraded battery, kinda seems like overkill to me at this time. Sorta like going from Win xp to Vista.....why bother when I can go to Win 7 ....oh darn....now it's Win 8. It's always something new, just gotta have a reason and the resources to aquire all of these marvelous toys! I am looking forward to seeing the Mini t3........

Well, after using the Spinner for a couple weeks then going back to the X2s I am finding there is quite a difference. I vape a tobaco mixture and the 4.3 setting does give me a much better flavor and volume of vape. I would not have believed it intially, but it looks like my X2s are now my backups!

Well I am seeing the same responses here that pretty much a Spinner can make a so-so tasting juice much better or it can burn the crap out of it. I have many e-liguids that I have just put away into the box cause they either taste like bubblegum, they taste way too strong, or they just plain don't taste at all. Maybe by the time my resources coalesce upon receiving tax returns, I may invest. Just to see if the juices that are sitting in the backwater due to inconsistancys will be able to come alive or tone down using a VV battery. Right now, it's just more vernacular to learn and type in, I'm tired.
