What are affilated codes?

I want to review my orders cause I think LF is great but I see there is an affilate code and don't know what that means. Can someone tell this dummy how to go about that. I hear you can also earn points or money toward furture purchase, that sounds great. When I go on the website I don't see any directions on how to go about this. Also wonder if LF has a newsletter?

We do have a newsletter, we only tend to send it out every few months though.

Affiliates - you signed up for your own code, if someone uses it then you get 5% they get 10% off their order. The 20% means this doesnt go on much but once the 20% drops it will be more valid.
