What are flavors that surprised you?

My first one is Wowboy. I know it's my taster, since Wowboy is wildly popular, but to me, it tastes like cat urine. I've read all these wonderful reviews, all of the "best tobacco, flavored with chocolate and a hint of mint", and then I go and vape it again. And once again, taste cat urine.

And then there's Wow Chocolate. I was so excited when I filled the carto and got ready to vape this one. Finally, I was gonna get some yummy pure chocolate goodness. I closed my eyes and drew......OMG, spaghetti-Os! I continued to vape it, thinking it would improve, but it was definitely spaghetti-Os. The room smelled like someone was baking heavenly brownies, but I was tasting Chef Boyardee.

I don't know, I think I have a 'blind' taste bud when it comes to V4L chocolate.

On the plus side, Cognac blew my mind in the best possible way. It's one I would never have picked for myself, and if not for a V4L sample, I'd never have tried it. The same thing with Cafe Mocha.

Maybe I should just send in my money with a note to the guys in comments to pick out a few things and send them to me. They obviously do a better job than I do.

So if we describe as cat urine, does that fulfill the politeness requirement on negative comments? If I were to say it tasted like....oh...I don't know...Giraffe vomet...or Orangutan Spleen Juice would I have crossed the line somehow?

You aren't alone, Joyce... we have similar tastebuds... although I've never tasted cat urine, so I couldn't positively identify it, wowboy was not my favorite either. So far I haven't liked any chocolate vapes either, which surprised me, since I consider chocolate an independent food group. Every banana flavor I've tried tastes like rotten banana to me. I thought when I started that I would love the fruit/berry flavors, haven't cared for any of them with the exception of RazzWow. The biggest pleasant surprise was black licorice. Hate the candy, but really enjoyed the vape.

I would say the Wow Nuport really shocked me since I was never a greenie guy in my other life. There were quite a few flavor from the discontinued bonus cartos that were pretty bad...pumkin pie quickly comes to mind. I have found that I am definitely not a dessert fan or a big fan of half the fruit flavors or any of the booze flavors. There a few coffee flavors I like, but they don't seem to be Carto friendly so I don't vape them.

Taste is so quirky and subjective, I have a good friend that loves every flavor that I don't. So ya, Wow Nuport...good stuff.

I got a few samplers as I am starting out. I think the Fruit one, each one tasted exactly like jolly ranchers to me, particularly the sour apple. I bet they'd taste quite nice with a Pino this summer.

Frankly I was shocked by the fact that despite the fact I am a huge coffee fan, I wasn't all that impressed by the coffee flavors. They weren't terrible, I just expected them to be more... wow... less... meh.

It would seem I've found a sweet tooth that I didn't know I had. I wonder if there are more savory flavors about.

I have to agree with you Joyce...Chocolate was a big...What The Heck Is That ???!!! Spaghetti O's didn't come to mind at the moment for me...but we're keeping it clean here so I won't say...LOL, LOL !!

Ms. Joyce I have two that come to mind. First was Nuport Wow, I hoped it would taste like the analog, but had been disappointed many times in the past. It was spot on.

The second is Wowboy. I was never a non-menthol fan, but for some reason I love it... I got a Wowboy carto as a freebie, been hooked since... Good part is the Wowboy peppermint is so akin to it with just a slight peppermint hint at the end that I have something to hold me over until it's back in stock on the higher nicotine levels....

Not a big fan of the fruit either, tho i had to try the grape cus it seemed to have so many fans, but i tried it and i put it away. I'll hold on to it just in case MK really needs some in the future when VL is sold out
The biggest surprise lately is cinnamon roll and wowboy, love them both. I don't care for the chocolate either even tho i love chocolate, but a dark choc is hard to get right.
Going to have to try the Nuport now!

I was not a big fan of Waffle when I heard we were going to stock it... then it came, I tried it, and was very impressed with it... Who Knew??

My biggest surprise was peppermint. I tried it in the past and it burned my mouth..it was more pepper then mint. The other one was grape..just knew it was going to taste like nehi or kool aide..it doesn't and I like it a little bit .
My disapointments were cherry jubilee and banana foster. No joy at all!

I was surprised by some the banana fosters sample I got. I never liked bananas, but it was pretty good. I was also a little ticked, cause I got this french vanilla ice cream sample with my order of 5 vanilla carts and a 30ml bottle of it, and it was just like my vanilla, with a touch of sweetness. I like my vanilla, but I wish I had money for a 30ml bottle of French Vanilla Ice Cream WOW. I see it in my dreams....

clove was an awesome vape...thought I would *hate* it. Also Original Kant is a very nice flavor I would not have bought without a sample.

I love peach everything, so loving the peach wasn't a surprise. But I love lemon flavors, so I ordered the lemonaide.. ugh! not good for me at all!! Then I tried a sample of the pineapple... ohhh... I love the pineapple! Its like a warm flavorful bite of pineapple! I adore it!

My biggest negative surprises were (1) Mango; and (2) Pineapple. To me, the pineapple is just "meh -- bleh", and I cannot even get ANY taste from the mango cartos at all. (WT???) I ADORE both of those as fresh fruits, and had been so knocked over by the grape and blueberry, that I was sure I couldn't go wrong with mango and pineapple. BZZZZT! So much for sure things!

My biggest positive surprises were (1) Cognac (DUH); and (2) both of the Premium Mocha Frappes (Vanilla and Classic Caramel). I love my coffee, but take it dark roast, black and a little sweet. I always HATED those frou-frou artificial creamers like "Belgian Hazelnut" and "Brighton Clotted Cream" LOL. (Okay I just made that second one up, but you know what I mean!)

Now I am positively ADDICTED to the Premium VMF and CCMF. As in, vaping more than half the day (look out RY4 -- they're GAINING on you!)

I too am not a fan of the fruity vapes, but I must admit...I ordered the Grape for my hubby (as he does only the fruits)...and now I'm gonna have to get one for me too...it was good....let's see....another shocker was the licorice...I hate the stuff IRL, but the juice is to die for! Love It! Another was peppermint...the only peppermint I like are the old fashioned peppermint sticks...you know the ones that just melt in your mouth (can't find them anywhere here anymore), but yea...I like the peppermint too....dislikes...the only one that I can think of off the top of my head is the Irish Cream....It is fixable though...it's a bit strong for me and I was hoping for something a bit sweeter....very much like what you would get in a TRUE Irish Cream drink...a lot of alcohol....it is pretty good toned down with my coffee flavors though.

Heh. I got my first Irish Cream as a freebie, and thought I was gonna be drunk by the 4th puff! (They did Ma Bailey proud!)*

I still like it as an occasional "switchup", especially after dinner, but never before or after the Cognac

I am just amazed at V4L menthols, compared to other brands I've tried, these are brilliant. Nuport in particular.
Cappuchino. Didn't like the up-front taste, but then the after-taste kicked in - so creamy, smooth & mmmmm.
I'm not a sweet tooth at all so I can't believe how much I am liking sweet flavours , such as chocolate macadamia.

Don't like fruit flavours much: Pomegranite - still recovering from what that did to my sense of taste & smell. Ew!

I've been enjoying the VG Wow Chocolate and Wow Peppermint myself. Got a free sample of Beer flavor that went to the trash after two puffs.
