Im looking to get into rbas. I have built a few coil on a two different drippers. I have a mini a7 clone and a smok dripper rda but didnt like either of them they were cheep to try and see if i like building coils myself. I do injoy building them using 28 ga kanthal and organic cotton wick, and am getting a sentinal m16 clone in the mail. I was wanting to find a good rba but i dont know which ones are good and bad. The two i have i am not impressed with and would like to find one or two that would work. i have and use a vaping ohm meter that you can screw the rba onto to check the ohms and have a few sony 30 amp batteries so i belive i have everything i need but a good rba.

I would get a helios or helios clone.
They have a good adjustable airflow. There are 3 holes and an adjustable ring that goes over it. If you want more airflow you can dremel out the three holes to a slot and put the ring back on. It leaves the device looking good, still has the adjustability, and gives you a really large number of airflow options.

You mean rda's or rba tanks?

Single coil or dual coil?

For a really good starter RBA for single coil setups I like the IGO-L.

For dual coils I quite like the Trident V2.

These are not necessarily the best performing RBAs, but they are very easy to work with and do perform very well.

I love my Igo-L. Super easy to build, works great. My first was a Phoenix clone that was fun to learn on, but the Igo-L performs so much better, imo.

MINI Direct Drip Atomizer (DDA)

its cheap and works well enough

I can't tell if those ones from Totally Wicked are painted on the inside as well as the outside, but I definitely wouldn't want my liquid coming in contact with a painted surface. I'd rather have something made of steel than aluminum anyway. I got one from sun-vapers.com (although he doesn't seem to have them anymore) for about 5 or 6 bucks - I think it's an octopus clone - all steel, very solid, included the drip tip - nothing fancy but it works. The only thing I'm not crazy about is there's just one little air-hole, so the draw is very tight - I might at some point try drilling it out a little more. Also, the screws on the posts inside it require this tiny little allen wrench, which was included, but if I ever lose it I might be in trouble. In any case, I'm sure the name brand ones are great, but if you're not looking to spend that much, I'm sure if you look around you could find something similar to what I got that's steel and not going to break.
