What are the advantages of a Kayfun Lite?

I am looking into this and was wondering what are some of the pro's to this. I do know how to make coils. I am a big fan of my carto tanks but hate to keep having to buy new carto's every month. I only have a few flavors that I use and usually vape the same flavor all day.

Does this taste similar to a carto tank? And can you adjust the airflow. I don't want a airy draw....something similar to a carto would be great! I am also looking at the clone of this at first to see if I like it. Any opinions would be most appreciated!

It tastes much better than the cartos I've used. It's more convenient to fill. The draw is perfect. I can say the same of the Taifun GS or GT. The GT is the easiest one to build and fill.

I just upgraded from cartos to RBA. Bought a Kayfun Lite Plus (airflow control) Tobeco clone on ebay for $25. Watched a few tutorials on how to build micro coil and have built 3 easily so far. It's fun and the vape is outstanding flavor-wise.

Go for it and see if you like.

Use Carto Tanks and Kayfuns
Not even close - Kayfun can deliver a more pronounced flavor using Cotton wicking.
Maintenance is a simple as removing tank and chimney, pull the wick and rinse everything. Dry burn the coil and re-wick. Assemble and fill for a few more tanks of Joy.
Kafun feels more secure in the pocket. Always worried of a slipping tank with my carto setups. Worked out back for several hours today with the Neme/Kayfun in pocket.

Kayfun lite has a close draw to a Boge Carto(new) KFL + allows for adjustment.

The flavors much better than any carto tank IMO . My microcoils are two months old and going strong in my Kayfuns , and when it is time to rebuild it cost me less then 10 cents to do it with 28ga wire and cotton balls , rewicking is also a simple matter using cotton . If you get the KFL+ with airflow control you'll be able to fine tune your vape in a way that's physically impossible for a carto tank , you'll have complete control over every aspect from resistance and wicking to airflow and draw . What'ya waitin for ,git orderin !

I was (and still am) a fan of carto tanks, but the Kayfun does have more flavor. I also find it more entertaining. I can prime a carto tank in under 2 minutes, but then it's done and I'm bored. With the Kayfun I am obsessed with making the perfect coil. I sit and wrap coils while reading the forum, but most of them end up in a jar for future use. I like to experiment and be creative. It sure beats the hell out of crocheting.

This. Everyone knows me as the cartotank guy. I've been using them for nearly 2 years as my primary juice attachment and was perfectly fine with this. Well, I was not that long ago gifted an authentic Kayfun Lite plus and I'm in heaven. A KFL+ is like a cartotank on steroids.

I had previous experience making coils for a couple of Genesis-style RBA's, but put them away away in favor of the less fussy cartotanks. It's easy to build simple microcoils on the KFL+. My current 1.3 ohm coil has been going strong for 6 weeks (dry burning between wick changes). I change the organic cotton wicks every 4 - 5 days when the flavor falls off or starts tasting a little burnt. Easy to drain the tank (or wait until its near empty) and change the wick.



A years supply of Kanthal wire costs $8. A years supply of organic cotton costs $3. No more spending $2 on cartos every two weeks.

I always look for something that I don't have to buy more parts for i.e carto tanks and the cartomizers. With the kayfun all you need is wick and wire. Depending on what happens with regs in the future I want to have to buy as little as possible.

Worlds appart, the Kayfun gives such an intense flavor it's unbelievable. A simple micro coil at 1 ohm with cotton is hellacious, fantastic. Throat hit is also boosted, I had to drop from 18mg to 12mg when I switched to it.

I just built my first one and I will never look back might as well toss my nautilus and aerotank mega.... night and day... I can't think of any negatives of a RBA such as KFL+ or Russian 91%....except for maybe burning through juice faster

I made a bunch of coils yesterday, too, for future use. I think I enjoy making the coils, too, trying to get that "perfect one". I had to stop myself from making too many! Glad to see someone else does the same thing.
