I have had some good success at making my own juices and would like to find better cartomizers than I am currently using. Right now I am currently using Vapor Kings 510d black regular cartomizers. It is nothing personal against them but I almost feel like they have a strange taste unto themselves. Some are loosely packed, some are tight as a donkeys ....... they are not consistent. All my batteries are of the 510 threading and I am not changing that part...just the cartomizers.

I have blu batteries and Joye batteries. So any suggestions on cartomizers...not tanks because I really do not enjoy the tanks at this point. Perhaps someday...but not today.

Oh yes and if anyone has any hints on cleaning out a cartomizer that would be great as well.

Thanks for any hints!

The general consensus seems to be that people love the Boge 2.0 cartomizers. Madvapes has them in 5 packs for 5.99 as their deal of the day. Crystalclearvapors.com has bundles of 15 for $20 all day everyday. I started with the Ego Mega Dual Coils and I have several packs of the Boge 2.0's on the way since I'm sampling a lot of flavors in the next couple weeks. good luck!

Try the Boge 3.0ohm cartos. They are popular and work great.
I prefer the 2.0ohm boges and 1.7ohm Ressurectors but for a slim ecig you can only use SR cartos. Do NOT buy low resistance cartos, you can ruin a slim ecig with them.
You can clean cartos, but I dont. I find some cartos don't work as well after being cleaned. I get avg 2-4 weeks on one Ressurector and never clean them. If you fill them correctly and never let them get dry you can easily get your money's worth without cleaning them

Most people use Boge and I don't have any consistency problems with them. But they are usually marked 510D on the box. Slim batteries need to use standard resistance 2.5 to 3 ohm. People with 450mah+ batteries usually prefer the hotter 2 ohm ones.

I use thin clear juices only. PG w/ 20% or less VG and I never use dark/cloudy/opaque juices that drop flavoring sediment in the stuffing because sediment bakes on the coil and gunks up the stuffing, turning it into a mess that doesn't wick or drag well.
