Hello,

This seemed like the most appropriate place to put this, but I am of the opinion that it's no longer viable to have the high end/authentic users use the APV Discussion top forum for high end mechanical discussion. 90% of the threads on page 1 concern clones or are pro-clone in some way, and every other topic is turning into Authentic vs. Clone arguments.

Thanks

Alright, you guys are going to kill me for asking this...how did the Social Group Forums get that way? Is there some application process maybe? I didn't realize there was a difference vs. a regular Social Group...but my members are disappointed with the functionality, and I don't blame them. We already have over 20 members, if that makes a difference? I think that's more than some of the current Social Group Forums >_>

Also, as it is, without being seen on the front page, the only way to draw like-minded people in is to advertise on other subforums, which I suspect is frowned upon. There are the people that will see the link in the HEM thread, but many more who don't post there that won't. :\ I just kinda feel like if you guys knew the situation over on APV Discussion, it would be different. Authentic mod-people rarely even post there anymore, aside from the one thread, because so many of the topics are clone-oriented, and those are the ones that get bumped to the top, because clones are all the rage nowadays.

I do appreciate the approval of the group and know that you didn't have to do that, it's just a bit underwhelming compared to what everyone was expecting...

That's a great idea, only none of us would have moderation ability. I don't care who has it, doesn't have to be me necessarily, but not having anyone with the ability to moderate would somewhat defeat our purpose.

So...what would be the chances of us taking over that forum officially? Last post was over a year ago. We're not expanding the forums overall in that case, just filling up space that is currently practically empty...seems efficient in my opinion :D
