Yeah when I tried it I was inhaling it into my lungs...idk then @Ghemo I don't think you will get that "feeling" with vaping like you do with hookah smoke. You will see vapor and taste flavors but as far as a buzz or light headed feeling, it won't be there unless you go extremely high nicotine - which I do not recommend - 24mg makes me nauseous and I smoked 2 packs of smokes a day

I've been vaping for about a week now and i've tried various e-liquids at 0mg

I don't know why but I'm not feeling any sort of effect. Like with smoking and hookah, I would feel light headed or relaxed but with vaping i'm not getting any of that, it's like i'm literally blowing smoke and that's all.

Am I doing something wrong? Is it because it's 0mg? What do you guys feel?
I think the reason you aren't getting a buzz if you want a feeling similar to hookah while not using that much nic, i think 6mg or even 4mg would be enough

to me i get a hookah feeling at any nic but at higher nic levels you will feel it quicker, i feel it immediatly if i use even 18 mg

Hookah smoking is usually done with deep lung hits. It's inhaling the same chemicals and nicotine as analogs, but cooling the smoke down through water (some argue it's actually more dangerous than analog smoke). As both a former smoker and hookah user, people usually get lightheaded from the lack of oxygen in their blood stream. When you breathe in that smoke, your lungs have a difficult time filtering it out and absorbing oxygen. As a result of that, the blood going to your brain is deprived of oxygen, and you get light headed. You may also get a "buzz" from nicotine with both analogs and hookah (You absorb nicotine through your mouth too, so that may be what's happening if you aren't inhaling vapor smoke). (This usually involves a variety of side affects that you can look up elsewhere.)

Vaping is a nicotine delivery system that does not use combustion in the same way as either hookah or smoking analogs. You are not inhaling smoke. That being said, if you switch over to a higher nicotine level, you may get the nicotine buzz. (Forewarning that e-cigs are an imperfect delivery system and the effects take MUCH longer to manifest than analogs or hookah nicotine would. You may also make yourself nic sick because you aren't used to it, but that's up to you.) You will probably never find a way to get that lightheaded feeling because you ARE NOT clogging your lungs with smoke. Your body is still absorbing oxygen in normal amounts and the blood is still carrying oxygen to your brain. You'd have better luck looking into asphyxiation as a way to get your lightheadedness because that is what you are doing with analogs and hookah versus vaping.

TL;DR
If you are looking for a nicotine buzz, vaping can do that. If you are looking for that lightheaded feeling, it's not going to do that. The calm feeling you get with hookah may just be because you are essentially doing breathing exercises that they teach people for anxiety. Breathe in slowly, hold, breathe out slowly. . .though low amounts of nicotine have also been reported to have this affect on people.

You could get the same buzz from going into a sealed garage and turning on your car engine for a little while. More than anything the buzz is simply a lack of oxygen along with intake of carbon monoxide. It's slow suffocation.

Some people like the feeling of dying from suffocation so much they get sexual pleasure from it. Look up autoerotic asphyxiation.

I don't smoke cigarettes. I've smoked hookah plenty of times so i'm talking about the effect you get from that.

But what's burning in the hookah? Aside from the obvious Shisha, I know many who partake in (legal) herbal blends via this route.

Then there's the other stuff...

many hookah blends (even tobacco free) have very small amounts of nicotine or other chemicals that trigger a dopamine response (the buzz), for most people nicotine is fairly easy to kick, but for those who have smoked for a long time their brain chemistry is altered to regulate dopamine release when smoking (hence why nicotine replacement doesn't work well) it's not so much the lack of nicotine, it's the lack of dopamine, and that can take a year or more for your brain to rewire/self-regulate. if you are not nicotine dependent, don't start just for a brief buzz, run a couple miles or workout, you will get a dopamine response and be much healthier.
